re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

True Blood is an abortion of a tv series, it's absolutely terrible.

Speaking of terrible, I finished the first season of Entourage yesterday. I had the day to myself and had it lying around forever and figured I would finally give it a go. So a few joints and a few hours later the first season is over and I'm left sitting there wondering why this show gets the massive love that it does. It's a bunch of annoying douches all trying to get laid all the time with women that are so completely and utterly unrealistic for them. It attempts to be funny but I felt that 9 times out of 10 it didn't work. The only redeeming quality about that show is Jeremy Piven He's such a cunt, I love it. But yeah, a day with absolutely nothing to do considering it was +34 outside and a bunch of joints still couldn't get me to like that show. God knows, I tried.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

Surprise, surprise I already finished Season 1 of Mad Men.

Its pretty good. It develops slower than other shows I've watched. And at times it feels to me like not much is going on. But its historical feel and acting is top notch. Expecting Season 2 to be better.

A comment about Season 1:
Spoiler for Mad Men:
Peggy didn't know she was fucking pregnant? WTF. I mean you are sexually active, you must have had morning sickness, you clearly were gaining weight and must have realized there was a baby in your belly. Seeing as she was in labor and had the kid at the end she must have been about 8-9 months pregnant. SERIOUSLY, HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW WOMAN.

i'm on board with this post. well, not to the extreme extent, but for the most part, i find it one of the most overrated TV series i've ever come across. it's terribly, horrendously average.

cool and smooth, that's how i play.

Thought that was stupid too Rockhead. Season 2 isn't as good and starts off pretty slow but the last few episodes are awesome. A lot of people think the 1st season of Madmen is the best but I prefer season 4.

Started up Breaking Bad in hopes of finishing before the new season starts. I'm almost done with season 1. Walter just finally decided to cook. The hype and awards he's received are justified. Dude is awesome.

Yeah that was pretty stupid, don't know how she wouldn't notice that.

Season 2 was good but not as good as season 1 or 4 which is my 2nd favorite season.
