There was one episode in the season that came off as filler which was the Black Market episode, still good though.

Can't wait to see what happens lol. Just watched the first episode of season 3 and it was great.
Yeah towards the latter part of the season they have quite a few episodes like the Black Market one, like the one with Helo dealing with refugees or Chief Tyrol dealing with a labor dispute. Not bad episodes really but they're just kind of there as character exposes, those two episodes in particular showing those two are willing to stand up for the common man. Sort of a spoiler but from the middle of season 3 onwards the show starts to become less about surviving the Cylon War and surviving the very worst parts of human nature.

If you haven't already, Band of Brothers and The Pacific were two great miniseries on HBO.

I totally forgot about The Pacific, I heard great things about it. Band of Brothers was pure awesome, definite a must watch.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

there are a lot of great mini-series stuff with the kind of things you're looking for, Rockhead. not that many television series' though.
i recommend the mini-series The Devil's Whore. great name, obvs.

anyway, i've had a busy week so i'm only halfway into the first season of Deadwood, but its been nothing but greatness so far. best ensemble cast i've seen in quite a long time. dialogue is splendid as well.

you can definitely see a lot of Raylan Givens in Olyphant's Bullock. not the same characters, obviously there are multiple differences, but just in the way he kind of carries himself. was quite apparent that you could watch this series and think "fuck, Olyphant would make a great renegade/cowboy marshal."

cool and smooth, that's how i play.

Olyphant plays the same guy in every single movie or tv show he's ever been in. Normally that bothers me but he's amazing so I don't care. Justified is the shit, love it.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

Seems like Bullock struggles with his anger more to me, dude at times just seems like he was about to explode and fuck up shit at any given moment (which at times he does, poor E.B. lol) but holds back due to his morals.

Does anyone know when the final series of Entourage starts, I remember hearing it was the summer of this year.

Glory, Glory, Man United.
