Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
GoT needs to come out with a trailer soon. The Seven Devils trailer for season 2 might have been one of my favorite trailers of all time. I can't wait for the show to come back on.

Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
New Modern Family was awful. One of the worst episodes.
Something's changed since series 4 started, i know it's got a few different writers and producers and it's completely changed the show for the worse.

Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Modern Family has been just okay this last month. baptism episode was hilarious though.
I'm not sure what my favorite part of Parks and Rec's second episode was. The whole gardening metaphor when Ann was in Ron's office had me rolling.

I love how understated the wedding episode of PARKS was. Almost a perfect metaphor for the show.
At this point it might be the strongest, most consistent comedy on TV. At least until CURB returns.

Person Of Interest has now well and truly reached the status of my favourite show running other than Parks.

PARKS this week. Almost no words. <3
Intro to the second part/episode is up there with one of my favorites. Tom's reaction was outta sight.
Oh, and thanks Target.

Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Seabs I finished up Season 1 of Party Down yesterday. Big fan of the show. The main cast all work off of each other very well and there's a ton of depth and varied humour littered in each episode. Adam Scott & Lizzy Caplan have this great on screen chemistry that makes them feel genuinly interesting to watch in their relationship, rather than being an irritating distraction. Bit where Adam Scott has an interview in the credits was hysterical in building to the interviewer recognising him. The way he had to awkwardly say his line at the Sweet Sixteen party to the depressed girl was also excellent. Casey nuking Roman with the ball in the team building exercise was incredible.
Roman is a colossal douche but he brings this great Gervais esque cringe inducing humour where you know his strange and isolated personality is going to land him in a really awkward situation, such as in the season finale where he corners George Takei & when they cater for a porn star afterparty.
Kyle is also really hilarious and I really enjoyed the friendship he had with Constance. Bit in the episode where the guy who hosting the party is scamming investors and Kyle is hanging out with a guy who proceeds to humiliate Constance without her knowing leading to him feigning an excuse to not meet up with him and instead catch a drink with her was really nice. They were a great little side duo who enjoyed each others company and played off one another in hilarious fashion.
Constance will be missed. Just loved her bizarre and nonsensical rambling and outlook she had on life. The J.K Simmons episode with the Sweet Sixteen party was my second favourite episode of the Season and most of it was due to Jane Lynch and the way she was speaking to the teenager about popularity and rejoicing when she ditches her friends for the popular folk. Jennifer Coolidge hasn't really impressed me yet, though I concede she'd do well to make a presence in 2 episodes when people were conditioned to Jane Lynch's character.
Ron is probably my favourite on the show. He's a good guy just trying to become a success and is laboured with staff who are really inept and his constant hints at a breakdown are always a treat. Bit where he stood up to the con man thinking it was the prop gun he was being threatened with and then panicking into a pathetic mess when he realises its a real gun was amazing. He was also superb in the porn star afterparty when a producer offers him work and he has to strip in front of them for an impromptu photoshoot. Can't forget his 'jiggers' outburst and in the first episode when the teenager thinks he's masturbating in her bathroom.
Ricky Sargulesh episode was my favourite.
Excited for Season 2 already. Will probably blitz through a lot of it today alongside the All Japan tag.
