Modern Family really felt off this week.

PARKS was outstanding again this week. Show is just constantly knocking great episode after great episode out of the park (pun very much intended).

I can't be the only one who'd watch a spoof of Mission Impossible starring Jerry Gergich entitled 'Mission Im-pawnee-ble' right?

Councillman Jamm was amazing again this week. Such a smarmy and insufferable douche. Special mention to him holding up a 'Your move' sign to Leslie as she becomes aware he was behind the Awareness test.

Chris having another excellent episode. Everything from Rob Lowe's cut aways and timing of his lines when discussing how proud he is to be able to play an avian flu sufferer and not overreact: 'THERAPY!"

Ron's swift and crushing response to Ben doubting he could work well on TV to promote the Gala. "I can speak in coherent sentences and don't cry'. Ben's '..I did cry!" response was a great bit of self-pitying realisation on the part of Adam Scott.

April and Andy. Such little screen time but such an entertaining and cute couple. Only with them two could you feel nervous about Andy passing the test, laugh at the quirky ways he remembers his answers and then laugh at her finding a dead rabbit as a form of good luck for him.

Animal Control, man between them and the Sewage Department I wonder who the next previously unknown department will be to reveal themselves. I do hope they managed to evacuate the birds in time.

Ron Swanson on TV. Oh my god between the deadpan delivery and gradual progression of the show (he went from guest to Host on: You're on with Ron) it was hysterical. He had some great lines about how to prevent hangovers, bluntly informing someone their house is in fact not haunted, they're just lonely and best of all alerting us that dogs who weigh under 50 pounds are cats and cats are useless).

A subtle Jerry gag. He's not informed Chris was joking earlier about a crisis and doesn't make it back in time to change into the Black Tie attire.

”I also helped a child perform a tracheotomy on his dying uncle.”

The ending. Seeing Chris talk to the police chief about Andy's performance only to find out he failed the personality test (a nice callback to Andy's confidence about that test regaling that everyone says 'but he has a great personality) in spite of being the only man ever to score 100% on the written exam. It was just a beautiful scene to see how hard Andy had worked on something he cared about, the cut away to him trying to restrain April from hitting him and failing whilst the chief calls him a genius was a smart and nice joke and Chris smiling as if he has something in store for Andy was a great end to the scene.

Next week looks promising.

Episode was brilliant yet again. Jerry continues to be the butt of the joke and I love everyone so much for keeping it going for 5 seasons.

What would I be if I wasn't emploring everyone to be worshipping the greatness of Ron Swanson. He even thought Herbie Fully Loaded was funny!
