That is poor. Ayoade is amazing and Woss is pretty good, but the rest are pretty poor. Russell Howard is nothing special.

It's a sad state of affairs when your a comedian and Gaby Logan is funnier than you.
The quality of the comedians on television today is so low.
Corden was alright in the massively overrated Gavin and Stacy but has sucked so badly since.
Whitehall is just awful. Why did he start out posh but become just really camp instead over time..? They went for the "doing rubbish on purpose" team and weren't even half funny enough to pull it off.

Id have liked to see Sean Lock on a team.

Just started Transformers Prime, I'm 8 episodes in but the animation and action is pretty good. Really liking it so far.

Sean Lock's brilliant. UK Comedy Panel shows have really digressed over the past few years. 8 Out Of 10 Cats isn't the same anymore, Big Fat Quiz contestants massively dropped and somehow League Of Their Own got popular with Corden and Whitehall on. Is Mock The Week even still running? That went shit once Boyle left. The 00's BFQ was pretty good for Ayoade/Fielding at least.

Yeah there's hardly any British comedians I find funny at all any more. Panel shows have indeed become shit, I like 8 Out Of 10 Cats still, that seems to me the only one that hasn't lost much of it's charm. Buzzcocks (ever since Amstel left) and Mock the Week (ever since Boyle left) and pretty much every other one either isn't as good as it used to be or is just complete shit now. The best comedians right now are the ones who don't go on those type of shows so it's not surprising. When Jack Whitehall wins the 'King Of Comedy' award or whatever the tits it was, you know comedy is in the shitter. I find Would I Lie To You pretty amusing sometimes. BFQOTY has been poor since about the third one they did.

It's because - maybe it's a fear by the channels - but there is a tendency to get comedians that are known for doing certain shows, that could have a kind of 'draw factor' to them, when it would probably be best, now, to start introducing lesser known comedians, newer comedians, even the ones that are slightly more well know, but don't appear on a TV show every month or so.

The only way to change the reputation, of 8 out of 10 cats for example, is to start having an influx of different comedians, even if they're doing it for the first time, doing this could then establish different comedians and actually create a 'TV comedy world' where there is are a lot of different choices and comedians on TV.
