Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

Only one show on that list has earned my viewing. That being Mad Men.

Sporadic episodes of Sopranos here and there and a few seasons of Lost. Rest, never seen anything. Well, that's a lie. Seen some of Friday Night Lights & 24, but never liked either show.

He has basically taken twelve shows (Oz, The Wire, Sopranos, Battlestar, Buffy, Mad Men, The Shield, Lost, Breaking Bad, Friday Night Lights, 24 and Deadwood)which he feels helped to put tv on a level playing field with film in regards to artistry, respect and ambition.

I'll be buying it with some of my x-mas money and as I know some of you are huge tv buffs, I thought it might be of interest to see this wonderful time for the small screen chronicled.
See that motherfuckers. Watch Battlestar.

Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

Seeing as the book is about great TV from the last decade I figured it was pretty obvious to anyone with a brain.

Oh yeah, for those interested the book is titled "The Revolution was Televised: The Cops, Crooks, Slingers and Slayers who changed TV Drama Forever."

It's a self published effort so can only be purchased online.

I can't wait for your reaction when I start watching it and hate it.

Actually I probably can wait and will wait. I'll watch it some day.

Maybe.
