re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Interesting. Didn't know The Borgias was being made. They were a wicked family in Italy back in The Renaissance. Kinda mafia before there was mafia I guess. One of them was even Pope lol. So I guess it's kinda like The Tudors, but set in Italy and the Borgias were more notorious than The Tudors.

I only know the Borgia's from Assassins Creed. Very fun games.

Jeremy Irons stars as Rodrigo Borgia. That's enough reason for me to watch. It does look like the Italian version of The Tudors, but having enjoyed The Tudors, I'm not complaining.

Hopefully they cast Alan Rickman as his brother...

Yeah I looked it up after posting. He's not really very Italian (actually the Borgias might have been Spanish living in Italy; it's been awhile), but he is Jeremy Irons. I think we'll get far more debauchery and decadence with The Borgias than we will with The Tudors. They were one fucked up family from what I know of them.

Yeah, the Borgias were Spanish. They still lived in Italy, though. I think Assassin's Creed II/Brotherhood players should watch the first episode to gauge their interest, seeing how he and Cesare were the villains of the games. It's always interesting to see different variations of the characters, whether historical or not.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
I read a bit about Camelot. It looks like we'll have three shows filled to the brim with sex and violence all on at the same time in April.
Only one has an awesome dwarf though.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Even though I think my free Showtime expires by April, I think I will follow The Borgias. AC II/Brotherhood already has me interested in it. Historical based shows are something I always want to get into.
