Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Homeland has been fantastic this season. The only thing that sucks is that I catch it on channel 4 with my housemates on a sunday and have to wait a week while I'm tempted to download the most recent one

Rudy is great. The third rudy episode was probably my favourite this season as rudy was actually a fun villian. We need to see more power usage though, the show is teetering with bullshit drama skins 2.0 if it continues with only 3 leads.
Spoiler for misfits:
Yeah I think the Seth character could still be brought back to freshen things up with new powers like he's done before. I really like the powers the three remaining ones have, but they really do need more usage. X-ray vision and telekinesis could both be fun in plots too.
Evil Rudy was fantastic too, I knew he'd only last one episode though but he had some great lines

Yeah they're totally different but both amazing in their own rights. I'd probably side with Blackwater because I prefer the spectacle. That episode of Homeland is like the opposite though. I don't mean that as a knock either. As far as stripping literally everything back to the bare bones and just having 2 amazing actors tear it up like it was phenomenal.

Spoiler for E5:
Interrogation episode.
It was never going to be on the level of the 1st season because it isn't fresh anymore so it doesn't have that novelty but it's come as close as it probably could.
You mean the actress or her story? The girl who plays her been great I think. Trying my best not to go into spoiler territory in this thread but it seems as though her story will tie in with the big plot now.
Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Spoiler for Boardwalk Season 2 Ending:
I'm still completely gobsmacked at the finale. I'm not happy either, Jimmy was my favourite character along with Harrow on this show. I did suspect that Jimmy was gonna die, but I'm surprised Nucky was the one who killed him. I thought Horwitz was gonna catch up to Jimmy or that Jimmy was gonna kill himself. I've been completely put off Nucky now, I don't know how he could bring himself to kill someone he considered a son. Jimmy 's even the reason Nucky's not in jail right now. Son of a bitch, I hope Harrow catches up with him one day. And Horwitz, I hope Harrow plants a sniper shot, 1 inch below his eye
As for Jimmy saying he died in the trenches, I think Jimmy died before then. I think Jimmy died the moment he slept with his mother, that's why he joined the army, he couldn't live with himself. As much as I didn't like what happened, it was a fantastic scene, and Jimmy was fantastic and beautiful character. I hope his death haunts Nucky in Season 3, just like Fredo's death haunted Michael Corleone. I'm gonna have to have a re-watch of the first two Season's because I think a lot of points about Jimmy throughout the seasons will become more poetic and poignant, a lot of things will come together.
Loved the final conversation between Jimmy and Harrow, the one true relationship on the show. Brothers for life. 'Right to the last bullet.'
And please more Van Alden in Season 3, I love this guy.
As of Season 2's ending my three favourite characters in order are:
Harrow
Van Alden
Chalky White
Jimmy was previously my first. Jimmy is actually my favourite character in any TV show, just ahead of Gustavo Fring..

Spoiler for Misfits:
I think the bartender guy is gonna be borught into the group a bit. As for the newer characters. I like them a lot better than the previous lot. Nathan was a big loss but I didn't really mind about Kelly, Curtis, BARRY! or Seth and I couldn't stand ALisha. Rudy is great, Jess seems to be playing Simon's role with a bit more attitude and finn is a whole different type of character, which is always good.
Also, has anyone watched The Neighbors? Friend just recommended it too me a few days ago and I've been through all the eps so far since then. I didn't expect a lot and the pilot wasn't great, but once you get into it it's pretty funny.
Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Blackwater, The Other Woman and the Breaking Bad train hijack episode my favourite three hours of tv this year. Would require repeat viewings to decide between them.
Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
The only flaw with Blackwater was how it was unclear how the ending went down. I've spoken to people that were unsure of Stannis's fate. They also thought Tywin led the charge when it was really Ser Loras. Tywin is a lead from behind type guy. He puts troops in position and signals charges; he doesn't lead them.

Stick with it. Season 3 could nosedive but from what I've seen so far, it's still going strong.
Spoiler for BE:
To keep it vague, I get where you're coming from, but the main story was always clearly a tragedy and wasn't going to end well. RIP Jimmy Darmody. You were a great character; one of the best ever on any TV show.
