Forgot to comment about your reply to the community post. Aye I'm amazed I didn't pick Troy as my favourite from the start. Whilst Abed still makes me laugh I can now see why he can irritate/ruin some scenes and be divisive as a character. Whilst I enjoyed the overall theme in the episode where Annie sets Britta and Troy up on a date, some of the fantasy role play between Abed and Annie just wasn't that great to me and was probably the first time I regretted an episode revolving around Abed and his quirkiness.

Troy is just pure awesome. Anytime he's involved in an emotional scene is amazing. Loved the bit in that Annie/Abed episode where Abed impersonates Troy and he cries about not understanding Inception and finding Clive Owen attractive.

Law and Order parody was incredible. As was Dean Peltons' 'good news/bad news' costume.

It's not often, but occasionally Abed does that. Wasn't sure if it was just me who felt that way. Guess not. Seriously, Troy gets me in every episode. Even with his one liners. A la Creed Bratton from The Office. He can steal an episode with one great quip. Haha, at the example you used. Whenever I think of something Troy related I immediately jump to the Go-gurt line. It's beyond random and silly. The delivery of it is too He's so serious about his statement. Classic.

Don't even get me started on the Dean and his costumes. A whole different level of awesome. Jim Rash rules.

He just had another sterling scene where they riot in the cafeteria during Starburns' funeral and he's trying to cover up his tears as being caused by the pepper spray . Also forgot about the bit during the Pillows vs Blankets war where he reads Abed's email and cries as he reads about how easy it is to make him cry. Glover is the best performer on the show imo, with Rash just behind him. The Dean is terrific whether he's making inneundo based one liners, the always killer fascination with Jeff and just his physical comedy in general. I loved the way he delivered the line 'does anyone hear even go to classes?' during the pillow/blanket war episode.

The whole twist with who her attacker turns out to be was also a really great subtle reveal that would affect her as a character for many episodes to come.

I can't remember if this is in the same episode or just after, but the subsequent scenes with Tony post rape are must see. I think it is in the same episode, but don't want to say anyting in case its not and I spoil too much.
The episode did have some great scenes between Tony and Melfi after it happened. especially the end, she starts crying and Tony knows something's up, he asks her if she wants to say anything and she just says no and it ends (earlier she was considering telling Tony). Great ending and one of the best episodes I've seen yet.

Was that the episode were he takes Annie into the dreamotorium or whatever it's called? Because I remember not being too keen on some of that either, and it was the first time I felt like that about an episode of the show. Evil Abed is amazing though.

I loved the episode were Abed had to pay off some debt, and when him and Troy had to act 'normal' for the wedding.

Jeff being blackmailed by Dean and them singing Kiss From A Rose will always be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Also the Apocalypse Now parody.

Have you finished season 3 now?

I'm about 5 episodes away from finishing Season 3.

The Tony scenes you mentioned were the ones I was talking about. Loved her dream where she imagines the rabid dog and works out Tony is dog who can not only protect her, but hurt the rapist violently.

All those Community bits you mentioned were amazing. Aye that was the episode, I dug the Annie/Abed relationship which got developed and made two characters who didn't interact all too often feel a lot closer by the end of the episode, but some of the actual role playing wasn't that funny to me. I much preferred the Season 2 episode 'Critical Film Studies' where Abed lures Jeff to the restaurant on his birthday because he fears he's losing Jeff in particular as a good friend.

Yeah Sopranos do some really great dream sequences, it has a tendency to be quite surreal at times, but everything means something or symbolizes something important that might come up later on, and I love that about the show. Shame I'm getting through it a lot slower than I wanted to. Also read somewhere (might have been on here) that the show can have stints of dipping in quality, but it's been really consistent so far.

One of the things I like about Community is, like the Critical Film Studies episode you mentioned, the way it can be quite emotional at times, but it never feels forced or cliche given the normal nature of the show. Just little things like the characters finding things out about themselves or realizing their flaws are really well done all the way through.

That episode (Critical Film Studies) was great. The Pulp Fiction party being set up for Abed then he goes and orchestrates his rendition of My Dinner with Andre instead. They pick out something specific for him only for him to do what he does best towards them (well, at least Jeff) The plot behind it had heart and some real nice character development. Got to love the different one on one moments between all of the study group. An episode like that is where I really can get behind the Abed character.

I dont think Chevy Chase is a huge lose to the show...yes he was a good villain, but he only really had moments were he was truly funny. But more than that, with Harmon fired and the 4th season only being 13 episodes...well i guess the writings on the wall for Community

2 broke girls was okay. Watched one episode and laughed a couple times. but when it was unfunny it was REALLY unfunny. I might go back to it but not anytime soon.

I might start watching 30 Rock more often. I know it's in it's last season but they always play reruns on the local FOX channel. I like the show, only thing i don't like is Tracy Morgan, he's pretty annoying for me.

SOA was pretty good, shit looks to be going down next week.
