Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
The Paintball episode of Community certainly lived up to the hype, amazing. Everything from the hilarious overacting from Garrett at the start, to Chang at the end with the paint bomb, to the way the campus was shot like a post apocalyptic wasteland and the way they referenced cliche conversations from action flicks e.g "what are you gonna do if you win" was superb.
Loved the Die Hard esque ending with Jeff having the gun strapped to his back and Abed doing a sterling recreation of the Matrix.

I've just re-watched this tonight, and fuck it's better than I remembered it. @ Jeff's reaction to bleeding, 'It's blood...I thought it was paint but I'm just bleeding!'. Also Troy's 'Jeff Winger you sunofabitch' line was amazing!

I love how random this is. I'm probably missing something obvious because I'm an idiot but fuck it.
Was I the only one who thought the first 10ish episodes of the 2nd season of Community kinda sucked? I actually stopped watching it for a while but post xmas it went back to top form thankfully.
Also I really wish Parks & Rec got as much hype in this thread to make people watch it as Community does. I love Community and everything but fuck Parks totally blows it out of the water.

Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Definitely don't think the first half of season 2 sucked, I can't remember what was in it exactly because seasons 2 and 3 are all just a blur of awesomeness to me now. I'm pretty sure I remember thinking it was better than season 1 about half way through though.

Re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Parks has been fucking specactular again this season. Words can't do justice to how amazingly consistent its been from Season 2-5. I mean its not like Season 1 is bad, but it definitely feels like by Season 2 they've managed to work out the direction they want to go with the show, whereas Season 1 feels like they're still trying to decide what sort of comedy its going to become.
Like a great comedy its actually been able to add some depth to a lot of the characters and run some less 'funny' plots like the April/Andy romance and not make it feel tacky and cliche. The cast as a whole is up there with the Arrested Development cast goes in terms of how well they compliment each other and add something to the overall quality of the show.
Btw Seabs, HOLY SHIT INDEED at who Ben's dad was. Loved how we was as cold and menacing as he was in BB.

Knew you'd enjoy the Garrett part in the beginning, haha.
Parks & Rec AND Community are both gold imo. I'm not picking one over the other because it can't be done. This is why Thursday Nights on NBC > any of night for TV. This is all combined with THE OFFICE to make it the perfect trio. If only Seinfeld never ended. I'd probably die from marking out on these phenomenal TV programs.
