On Season 1 Episode 3 of Walking Dead. It is awesome. The suspense so far has been great. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season.

Started watchin Veronica Mars this week, 14 episodes in so far. Absolutely brilliant stuff, i love how it mixes noir, humor and a dark storyline so effortlessly. Also Kirsten Bell should be a much bigger actress now-a-days than she is.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
Finished season 1 of The Walking Dead and it was really, really good. The season was short, but I'm sure it was because it was a new series. The constant crying-laced conversations were a bit bothersome, though. I get its the end of the world, there's zombies around, but do you have to cry everytime you speak?
Just started season 2 and enjoying it so far. The portrayal of the Andrea character as the typical angry/scorned woman with an attitude isn't to my liking.
Overall, I'm liking to series. I never got a chance to read the comics, but most likely will in the near future. I want to see if the characters in the comics actually went against logic nearly as much as they do in the show.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
last couple months been on a TV marathon. started Magic City which is pretty good. watched the entirety of Mad Men which is now one of my top shows. watched both seasons of Walking Dead which were awesome esp. season 2. then finished up SoA which is also pretty good although not quite Mad Men/Walking Dead/Breaking Bad/Boardwalk Empire/GOT caliber.
now I need a new show to watch. started Deadwood again and got bored in 5 minutes of the first episode. this is like the 4th time that has happened to me watching Deadwood. think I got passed the first episode one time. think maybe I'll watch Justified or The Shield next. unfortunately they're not on netflix instant and all the remaining TV shows on netflix instant that I haven't seen don't look that promising.
HBO needs to get Oz/Rome/Deadwood/w.e else I haven't seen on netflix instant so I don't have to stream/dl fucking episodes.

All true.
Personal preference: Own first & third seasons on DVD, didn't care for 2nd all that much.
Oh, & I support Invisible Children, "Kony 2012", & all that stuff after learning about it on this show.
Also, can't believe they redid Rob Thomas's "Cupid" before giving this show a movie.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)
I'm about half way through season 5 of Californication now and McQueen was right, it's not that great. It's not terrible, but it isn't that great either. Honestly, I'm sick of Hank and Karen being together and breaking up all the time and getting back together and sometimes not even really being together but still breaking up. This season has really show that this show really doesn't have much more legs, imo.
But fuck, Meagan Good is so fucking hot, it's unfair. Goddamn.

Feel the same way about Californication. Its funny but storyline wise it is just the same shit happening with Hank and Karen over and over again. And I can't stand the daughter. Karen and Becca can just be taken out of the show and I wouldn't care.
Agree about Meagan Good too. She is just way too fine.

Anyone here watched Luther starring Idris Elba (aka Stringer Bell)? It's a very good psychological BBC crime drama, I was very surprised. Elba's acting is top notch.

Yeah personally I think the next season should be the last.
