When I first saw that I was like "What the fuck is he doing on that show?.... ohhh wait. THATS AWESOME"

And I see the link is gone. Nevermind its back.

LOVED 98% of the season finale of "White Collar" tonight. They kept throwing surprise twists in there... Until the last 3 min. or so, where it all fell apart. All the interviews I read talked up the cliffhanger, but I see no choices any character has to make.

In more-recent news, watched "The Office" tonight for first time in a while. ("Interest" marked as a repeat.) Think it needs retitled, "Show is better when we're out of The Office".

My shows were all pretty good last night. 30 Rock was okay but this season so far has been the worst. Parks & Rec was great but sorta ended like a cliffhanger, not really confident Leslie is gonna win anymore. Archer was awesome as usual, but I think his sex life might have finally caught up with him.

Been re-watching a lot of MONK lately, and the more I watch, the more I'm convinced it's one of the most entertaining TV series from the last decade. It's a perfect mix of great humor and sadness/misery. Monk is such a great character, gotta love him, and feel sorry for him. Tony Shalhoub is a fantastic actor, he always delivers, everywhere. Stottlemeyer, Randy Disher, Sharona, Natalie, Monks's shrinks... all great characters. Randy Disher is especially hilarious.

Randy is a moron, but a lovable moron. Too bad it's over. Do you think we could ever get a tv movie out of it?

I'd like it, but I heard nothing about it. I want more MONK, dammit!

Btw, I forgot to add that the theme song "It's a Jungle Out There" rocks. Absolutely rocks.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

Yeah I loved Monk, they used to show it on BBC2 on saturday and sunday afternoons per week so every now and then I'd stumble across it and always enjoy it, same with the likes of Diagnosis Murder and Columbo on ITV1.

Then it came onto the Hallmark Channel and they showed it every day at 5pm so I finally got to watch a lot more and really loved it, always enjoyed how the Trudy issue was a major plot at the beginning but then slowly became a back burner only to return at certain moments, always felt a good way of not making it the centre of the show but serving as an important sub plot everyone wanted answered. Shalhoub is incredible as an actor and in his portrayal, I do find sometimes they really managed to strike that 'uncomfortable' feeling when you don't want to watch Monk getting embarassed/doing something weird and having people judge him, the same as when you get in things like the UK Office and Gervais makes an idiot out of himself and you cringe whilst viewing but still watch.

Disher was really great as well, and there are some really touching and sympathetic moments throughout the show, usually at the start of the series when you see scenes like Monk sleeping on his side of the bed and forever keeping Trudy's untouched. Actually shocked me when I found out a couple of years back it was still on and about to finish, I always assumed it never aired long since it always came across like a filler show when I was young compared to some of the more famous US dramas, so to find out it aired for 7 years and had numerous episodes I'd never seen was a great feeling.

Finale was pretty boss too I thought.
