Finished Mad Men, if they go through with what I fear they might build to in Season 5 then I'll officially become a supporter of 'Don Draper is a cunt and deserves to die alone', I really like the guy but every now and then he'll make this monumentally horrific life decision and fuck everything up, and the fact it may involve that utter BITCH Betty would only make it worse: plus his current fiance is amazing and I really liked the slow build tease between the two throughout the Season.

Caught up on Californication as well, not gonna talk about since Andy wants to remain spoiler free but I'll just say its as great as usual and is already shaping up to be another great season: Andy how are you gonna resist the urge to watch 'em??????

I'll be caught up by next week most likely. I'm working my way back through season 2 and I happened to miss the finale last year so i'm not exactly sure what went down at the end of the season.

Watched Southland last night (Lou Diamond Phillips!) for the first time. Seems like a halfway decent cop show. All the damn bleeps bothered me though. Damn you TNT.

Doesn't TNT only do shows with female leads? Seems like it. I haven't watched TNT since Nitro played a decade ago.

It seemed like Southland has 4 leads and only one was a woman, but otherwise you might be right. The Closer is an alright show, though. But most of the people I talk too that seem to not like it can't stand the lead in it.

Southland is pretty awesome. More story, less cops being cops. I dig it. It doesn't come across as a typical Cop procedural. Which is refreshing.

Justified note: Whoever the casting director is for the show is a damn savant. Probably the best casting director in Hollywood.
