I really liked The Cape, in matter of fact, it is what I wanted Heroes to be like which never was. Hopefully this wont be cancel and we get a full and maybe even a second season.

Yes, this all day. I figured no Lost would put a damper on my TV shows for 2011, but A Game of Thrones and Californication being back goes a long way to make up for that.

Just finished the first episode of The Cape. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Pilot so much (don't watch too many shows though). Yeah there is cheesiness, but its quite enjoyable so far. About to watch the next episode now.

So I'm burnt out on movies for the moment and I'm going to start on some television. I stayed up till 2 in the morning watching reruns of All in the Family that I DVR'd throughout the week. I love that show.
I need to continue watching The Wire. The first season was really great and I heard the second season is divine.

So I was on the film forum that I frequent and we were talking about different shows and apparently Miami Vice still gets aired in Sweden and gets great ratings and here is a quote full of gold:

If only I could live in a land that respected the VICE that much.

To what factors do you attribute Sweden's love of Miami Vice? Does it touch a nerve with the Swedish people? Are leisure suits still in style there?

My theory is that Sweden is a cold place and watching a show set in a warm climate full of "the beautiful people" is a bit of a wish fullfillment for the Swedes.

I think it just boils down to all Swedes have an inner desire to wear pastels, shoes with no socks, and bang as many blondes as Don Johnson.

peaks at s4, but gets better every season up untill then I'd say. although I could see an argument for any season being the best, really.
