there's no exact date for the Game of Thrones return (a teaser for the new season was posted online just a week or two ago), but since Game of Thrones season 1 was like April 10th or somewhere close to that, one would assume it should be coming back around the same time, as most shows usually do.

I hope the budget has been increased for season 2 which was the only drawback last time. Need some great battle scenes.

The high cost is what worries me about GoT. If they cancelled Deadwood & Rome over money issues no way GoT is safe.

I guess they will have to take out the expensive scenes to stay within the budget. How are GoT's ratings compared to Deadwood and Rome anyway?
