Walt's character development in Breaking Bad has got to be the best of any character, ever. Its been done beautifully, and I am not even halfway through the serie.
This weeks Always Sunny had the right plot, but it didn't come across very well for me. Right plot, right message, but not the best execution. Still a very fun episode. Community was fun. Britta and Chang didn't have any chemistry though, imo, made their scenes very awkward. Whereas Jeff and Annie do. Troy was fantastic, as was Abed's persistance of Earth II. If they keep Pierce's role like it is, I won't mind him as much.

Can't believe I already forgot about that bit. Was fantastic. The jokes were very good, loved the bits where they noted how the parents left their kids in the bar, but at the same time, the show just didn't seem to flow. The mortican jokes bombed also, imo. No idea what it had to do with the show, other than Frank trying to cover the bruises and looking dead.

Mac is freaking awesome. I have a hard time picking a favorite character between Mac and Charlie.
I finished the show, btw. Season 6 is easily the weakest for me, although it does have some really solid episodes. I really enjoyed the first five seasons, and Season 7 is pretty good so far.
Btw, anyone gonna watch "American Horror Story" or whatever its called on FX? I'm probably gonna give it a go, since I haven't watched any of the new fall shows yet.

What's everyones favorite series finale? I'd rank The Shield's endings as one of the best. Six Feet Under's was probably the best in terms of closure. Can't wait to see how they wrap up Breaking Bad and Mad Men.
Nothing will ever beat the Six Feet Under finale, IMO. I can't think of a series that's even come close. Altough the way Breaking Bad's going, it's got a good chance.

Still, Marlo got some form of justice since he never got the recognition he so badly wanted, and his power that he thrived on was taken away. One thing is clear to me, and that's that Marlo is going to get back in the game, reclaim his former glory, or die trying.
I don't think Jimmy's ending was that ambiguous though, at last not as much as Marlo's. His girlfriend finally got through to him with what she said to him on the porch. The important stuff is one's family, the rest is bullshit. Bringing that homeless guy back to Baltimore is symbolic of him finally totally accepting this.
Season 5 could never live up to seasons 3 and 4. Season 5 is still really good. That editor is one of my favorite characters of the series. He's another effective everyman that can only stand and watch the insanity around him. I mean he tries to have his voice heard and stands up for what he believes in, but ultimately, like most good Americans he's powerless to the bullshit that corrupts a really good idea.
Completely agree with this. I loved Marlo's ending, probably my favorite character ending apart from Bubs, that made me very happy indeed lol. I thought the finale was brilliant overall, and season 5 as a whole was still great, it's just seasons 3 and 4 are untouchable for me.
