Californication series 4 is my favourite series so far of the show and leaves me drooling with the prospect of series 5 around New Year time IIRC. Charlie IMO was the best part of this series with his interactions with various women on his quest to screw 100 women, his stories in court about Hank's pranks on Bill and just his general well rounded humour. Hank is the better character without doubt and comes out with some terrific one liners...but Charlie since around series 2 imo has moved far and away as the character who most likely has the funniest moment in each episode.

Karen really annoyed me in spells this season, right annoying bitch who I'm hoping takes a backseat during series 5. More Charlie, Marcy & Stu interactions please.

Also "revenge is best served with my dick", now that's a quote.

Sorry to break up the Breaking Bad talk but I'd just like to say I've been watching more Game Of Thrones, and I take back what I first said after seeing the first episode (which didn't do much for me) because it's getting really, really good .

Imagine season 5 will be about Hank slipping into a depression, and the Runkles reuniting, slowly, and hilariously. Either way, counting down the days on the calender for it.

Given up on Family Guy after the most recent episode. Was surprised I withstood how poor its been for half a decade, but it was usually just something to wind back and watch on a monday night.

Turned to Breaking Bad, in the middle of season two at the moment, and its just beautiful. Easily blows out all shows I've watched but californication, imo.

As for shows that have premiered so far in the past week, thought the HIMYM and TBBT were solid, nothing spectacular but still a nice combined 80-90minutes, community seems promising, with chang as a security guard. Not too keen on Pierce back already, as I thought he was easily the worst character last season. Did not like the intro though, and it just seems to be turning very cartoonish. And Always Sunny is just fucking A+.

co-sign on each and every one of these posts. The entire episode was amazing, but the ending, with Walt's maniacal laugh while Skylar is in the dark hallway and the eerie sounds gave me goosebumps (in a good way)

Also, after going back and reading some pages back, I have to agree that Aaron Paul has owned this season, easily.

I really liked season 4 because it got back to what made seasons 1 and 2 so great. Season 3 was a disappointment (save for Eva Amurri). I too am hoping that season 5 has less to do with Karen. I get that she's the love of his life, but the show was at it's best when she's with someone and Hank just smashes guilt free.

Oh, and kudos for recognizing how awesome Charlie and Marcy "where the white bitches at?" Runkle are.

So I just watched the newest episode of The Cleveland show and Ric Flair was in it, which was interesting. The Cleveland Show and American Dad completely shit on Family Guy and have for awhile now, which kills me to say.

I definitely agree with American Dad being by far the best out of the three, I never really thought The Cleveland Show was all that great as it seemed to be a failed attempt at making Cleveland this Peter Griffin esque character and after seeing him be a minor character in Family Guy for years it didn't really catch on. That being said I usually laughed a bit in most episodes and I haven't watched it for a while so maybe I need to give it another chance.

Family Guy has been pretty shite for a while now, hell some of the more recent jokes I've laughed at have involved The Cleveland Show particularly the bit where Quagmire thought he was getting the spin off.

I only watch Family Guy out of loyalty now, basically. The show hasn't been that great for 2 seasons now, at least. American Dad has always been amazing, I see so much of myself in Stan. I absolutely hated The Cleveland Show when I first watched it and didn't watch it again for awhile. Then I watched it randomly one day and loved it and have loved it ever since.

American Dad is to Family Guy as Futurama is to the Simpsons, better, but under appreciated for the bigger name show. And i do enjoy the Cleveland Show more than family Guy at this point.
