Done with season 1 and it is good to know that the show keeps getting better. Baltar and No. 6 are the characters I am liking the most so far. The religious tones on the show are really great. Can't wait to get started with season 2.

Yeah, the religious stuff really comes in to play in the later series and it's great, i'm not usually one for religious stuff but in BSG it just kind of...works. Baltar is the man!

Season 2.0 is my favorite, think the show drags a bit towards the end of season 3 (a couple episodes at least) but it gets pretty damn crazy in the final season. Awesome show, more people need to check it out.

Unfinished Business in season 3 is a really excellent episode, try and find the extended cut though.

Best trailers that people have seen for new shows starting in the new midseason this year? Been watching some today to try and find some new shows to try out and the majority of them are corny trash. Alcatraz and Terra Nova look like they could be good and the Man Up trailer was funny.

Homeland on Showtime looks like it could be really boss.

Unfinished business is a great episode. I havn't seen the extended version though. Hopefully it's on the bonus disc of my boxset or something.

Second episode of Band of Brothers was awesome. I can already tell i'm going to love this show.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

Its my favorite show ever, although not a whole lot happens in the last 2 episodes.

If you have the DVD boxset Unfinished Business should be on there already, there is a lot of important stuff regarding Dee that they cut out of the televised version.

Band of Brothers is great. Still have to watch The Pacific. Is it as good as Brothers?

I'd say no on the Pacific. It wasn't bad by all means, just not as good.

re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

Since The Pacific was only 10 episodes, I would highly recommend it. It's not remotely close to the greatness of Band of Brothers, but you could knock it out in 1-2 days. I would compare it to season 3 of Dexter, good but not that great and it's only 12 episodes.
