re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

Few thoughts:

New Entourage today was meh. To be honest the season feels underwhelming to me. The whole Ari divorce situation isn't really good for his character. Vince and the journalist angle feels like shit. No one really gives a shit about what's going on with Turtle. Johnny's little story is probably the best, but wow the show isn't reaching its previous seasons. Maybe it is time for this show to finally end. Two episodes left, better make the most of it.

Breaking Bad today was very solid. I think we are finally seeing the best of Jesse Pinkman. That scene at the AA meeting (or whatever) was so brilliant. You can feel something big is going to happen at the season finale with him (my guess is he might die or something ). And Hank is so close on the Gus Frings case, he can almost taste it. Great finish to the episode, great season thus far. Feel like we are gonna get a really good payoff when the season winds down.

Can't wait for September so many shows are coming back. New Boardwalk Empire, Community, Walking Dead (actually in October), and Gossip Girl (!!!!)

Homeland looks interesting, going to check it out when it airs. I've been lagging on Breaking Bad, hopefully this week I can catch up.

Breaking Bad was fucking amazing tonight. The scene with Jesse at the NA meeting was the most powerful scene of the season so far. Still far and away the best show currently on television.

I missed Breaking Bad last week so was a little shocked to see Hank has put the peices together already. Agreed with Rock that the NA meeting was an amazing scene. Enjoying watching Walt being corrupted by the money too, he's definately not being as smart as he was in previous seasons.

calling it now someone is going to accidently smoke the lucky cig. Hopefully Marie

Seems like most good TV shows just use the same casting agents. I see the name Sheila Jaffe C.S.A. a lot.

I started Band Of Brothers last night, only watched the first episode but needless to say it was rather great. Already starting to get a good idea of the soldiers characters. The production and overall feel is pretty amazing for a tv show, feels just like a movie. David Schwimmer was really good, although at first it was pretty hard to take him seriously, and him being tricked in to cutting the fence down was funny, I take it this was just a one off role for him?

Just started watching Smallville from the beginning. It's pretty good so far (got to near the end of series two), anyone else watched it? Is it one of those series which gets worse and worse as you go on?

Marking for: John Morrison, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes and Jack Swagger.

If I remeber correctly he's in about 3 episodes/parts of it, although the latter 2 episdoes are mostly little cameos I think.
