AMC have the best shows on regular television. Breaking Bad and Mad Men are both very fantastic shows. And its also not a bad thing to have a solid show like The Walking Dead on that network as well. Not gonna comment on The Killing, cuz I heard it blows.

Zombies aren't really my thing but I did enjoy the first season of Walking Dead.

Not as good as Season 7 but still very funny regardless. The scenes between David and O'Donnell in the latest episode were awesome and it's great to see Leon back in the fray. There's been a couple of poor offerings though (well poor by Curb standards.) Loved the Ricky Gervais episode and the whole "cool table" scene.

Your thoughts?

Larry and Rosie are always gold together. The Gervais episode was great. He got to play his own fake celebrity like all those guys did in Extras. It was a ton of fun.

I haven't been underwhelmed yet and laugh my ass off so it's still working. The episode with the Palestinian restaurant has been the best so far.

Yeah the Palestinian episode was really ballsy and hillarious throughout - easily one of the best episodes ever imo.

I didn't think Gervais would suit improv but he did a really good job and played very well against type.

Two episodes that I thought were a little below par were the sun-tan related offering and that episode where the guy takes all the cupboard space.

Missing Funkhouser too. He better appear in New York at some point and do something crazy.

Agreed on Funkhouser. He's always a fantastic straight man. Richard Lewis is particularly cracking me up too. Maybe Lewis and Funk will be in NYC toward the end.

The one where he's dating the hostess was the weakest for me too, can't really remember much of it. Richard Lewis was in it though.

Big Dog was awesome. Maybe a better actor other than Harry Hamlin should've played him, but the concept is funny stuff. I can't stand passive aggressive people like Big Dog. Good to make fun of them.

The Big Dog character himself was funny but I have no real recollection of anything else that happened in that show.

I'm hoping that Lewis, David, Leon, Garlin and the Funkmeister go on some sort of wild night out in one of the episodes. A bunch of mostly old men acting like youngsters can never fail to amuse.

I wanna say that the hostess and Big Dog were the same episode because his assistant's dad dies and the hostess puts the smiley face on his forehead. But yeah other than Big Dog it's not very memorable.

The Killing doesn't blow, it's got some nice writing and very thorough, powerful characters, but the build-up was so slow in season one and they didn't have half the payoff they should have. i don't mind slow build if i get the payoff, but i didn't.

cool and smooth, that's how i play.
