re: TV SHOW discussion thread (NO FUCKING SPOILERS please)

I dug Terry O'Quinn as MiB, but Titus was great too. Titus was menacing but also sympathetic. Big fan of the guy.

As for The Wire, I thought all seasons had a slow build. I really liked that aspect of it. It's as if we always enter the story in the middle and have to catch up to what's going just like the cops.

I actually stuck with Falling Skies all season. Holy shit this show is terrible. It's on a "so bad it's good" level.

Season 2 was just terrible. I gave zero fucks about any of the new characters they introduced and the storyline they brought with them. The season just progressed way too slow for my tastes. I mean they didn't start their task force until like episode 7 or 8, which made the rest of the season seem rushed. Honestly, it was almost a chore just to watch the season, although, the last few episodes were ace.

I can understand you not liking it because of the slow pace or new characters, but how anyone can procliam it to be terrible is beyond me. Great writing, great characters and great acting. This is scientific fact lol.

I enjoyed Season 2 particuarly for:

McNulty's exploits on the boat fucking with Rawls.

McNulty's Russian Prostitute adventure

The introduction of Brother Mouzone

The introduction of Cheese

Omar's testimony during The Bird trial

Avon's Prison storyline with the hot shots

Prez's "interaction" with his Father-In-Law

To be honest the only thing that bothered me about that season was Avon and Stringer talking so openly about their criminal activities during their Prison visits.

I mean doesn't the Prison monitor those conversations, I know Avon has that Prison on lock down but still that little detail bothered me.

I certainly gave a fuck about Frank. I liked the storyline of the docks because I mean that is where the shit comes in from it is interesting subject matter. I agree it isn't near the best I would def take it over season 5 though.

Tonight's breaking bad was so good, easily the best episode of the season so far. Hank is getting so close to fucking everything up.

I damn near screamed at my TV for Walter doing something so stupid. The look on his face when Hank was telling his story was awesome though.

Yep completely agree. There was always a terror factor associated with Terry O'Quinn as MiB.But Titus made us realised that circumstances made him what he became.

Breaking Bad isn't even close to losing steam. I don't like to say things are the "best ever", but man, this show is so fucking great. Loved the episode too.

Besides the stuff mentioned, Mike rules.
