Re: The Book thread.

I'm reading 'The Testament' by John Grisham just now, I read it a few years ago and couldn't remember everything from it, so I'm reading it again, and adding it to the books I'm keeping, it's quite good.

Well its written by a ghost writer Scott something but yeah it really comes off like The Funker is telling the story.

Great intro written by Mick Foley too, you can tell how much Foley loves and respects the guy.

Re: The Book thread.

Anyone read Vinny from Jersey Shore's book? It's all about relieving stress/avoiding drama/etc. Been dealing with the recently so I flipped through it and picked it up. He's a pretty intelligent guy with tons of life experience especially for 24 and looks like a cool guy so I'm interested in what's in store. It's written relatively casually too so that's a plus.

Re: The Book thread.

Just read Pierre Boulle's 'Planet Of The Apes'. It differs massively from the Charlton Heston movie. To be honest, the crummy Tim Burton movie was a lot more accurate to the novel and stayed somewhat closer to the orginal story. It's a really good read, though.

I will check it out man, thanks.

Does anybody have any ebook torrent sites? If we're not allowed to talk about that stuff then cool, ignore this, however I'm looking for some new books to read and just wondered.

Yeah it is. The author wrote for SNL and had voice work on Batman cartoons, how could it not be?

Haha, for serious though it's definitely a good read.

It's not as dirty/gritty/dark as ASOIAF, so don't go in expecting like a thousand pages of piss and rape and people not bathing properly.

Anyways, try freebookspot.es for those asking for ebook sites. Demonoid is also good for ebooks, although obvs not right this second.

Just finished the Psycho novel. Darn underrated. The Norman Bates chapters are quality.
