Re: The Book thread.

Jut read Norman Mailer's book, "The Fight". I'm leaning towards creative non-fiction more and more these days.

Has anyone else read Before I Go to Sleep? I finished it a week ago and thought it was great.

Re: The Book thread.

Yes, I read that a few months ago. Thought it was a really good book, very entertaining. After a while though I could see the ending coming, but that didn't take anything away from it. It was the author's debut novel if I remember correctly.

Re: The Book thread.

Yeah, you could see the end coming, but it still remained entertaining. I heard there's going to be a movie based on it with Nicole Kidman. Hopefully it gets made.

Re: The Book thread.

Yeah I heard about that too. At least she fits the bill for the character.

The Jack Reacher movie has Tom Cruise as the main character, which I think is laughable.

Little Brother by Cory Doctorow

Its really a very good book, I just finished reading it, and really loved it.
Its about a computer hacker who goes up against DHS after a terrorist attack turns the country into a police state.
The author actually gives it away for free on his web site.

Lots of good (full length) videos that dont suck (including wrestling) @ www.dailymotion.com/AntiFlag607, check it out.

Re: The Book thread.

Just read the novella "The Little Prince" by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry. It was a lovely little read.
