Yes, both. I liked the idea behind Elantris, but yeah, it was not so good. However, as a first book, the setting was decent.

I LOVED WoK. I can't believe it's going to be a 10 book series. Especially if they stay that length. As much as I loved most of the POV characters, the best honestly were the interludes. Particularly Axies the Collector.

The fact that there's a Hoid in every book that is supposed to be the same guy is fascinating too.

Currently reading Fritz Leiber's Swords & Deviltry - Book One of the Adventures of fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. Its got a different swagger. I'm liking it.

Yeah, don't. :P

They got optioned at one point but it expired. He's shopping them around again right now. I don't think anything will come of it soon but I do think they'll eventually get made into movies. CGI gets better all the time, and there's enough action in the books to draw non-genre fans to see the movies.

i loved the spook pov's in the 3rd book a lot, and found the ending...eh..well idunno how I feel about it. there were some good things in the 3rd book and some i didn't like. the earring coming back to play a part was nice.

oh and did you read the next book in the series? the one set in the future. alloy of law? it's pretty fucking good.
Alloy was awesome. I know a lot of people thought it was trite but it was kinda meant to be that way. Loved it. Also, I agree the 2nd book was pretty plodding.

I loved Elantris. I'm really looking forward to the sequel.

I also really liked Warbreaker. WoK has a lot of potential but I'm not going to try and judge it until a few more books are out and I can really get a feel for the world and the characters.

Also, speaking of Sanderson, SO FUCKING EXCITED and sad at the same time for aMoL to come out! <3 WoT

Finished the Dark Swan Series by Richelle Mead, I have a feeling that this and her Georgina Kincaid Series are meant for your women or something, but fuck it I find them entertaining enough to go through :P now I just need some new stuff to read.

I finished reading Chris Jericho's second book the other day, which was very interesting and entertaining.

Right now I'm reading Salem's Lot by Stephen King.

I actually read those both last year, one after the other. What is it about Jerichos book that must subconsciously make people want to read Salem's Lot?

Haha... Jericho's books are both great reads, very entertaining. As are Pipers, Heenans, Harts and to a point Regals and Bischoffs.

Because I'm so used to downloading books now, sadly for free as I'm a bit skint, I can't bring myself to pay anymore than 3 for a book. At the moment there are 2 that I want to for 6 each and I'm struggling to bring myself to pay for them. It's sad.

Where's the best place online for cheap books? Apart from Amazon?

Will have to look through his book for any subliminal messaging.

I've read both Jericho's, Eddie Guerrero's, Stone Cold's, Mick Foley's and Shawn Michaels book. Will have to get Hart's book, I've heard good things about it.
