Started reading 'The Naked and the Dead' by Norman Mailer on the train a few days ago. It's a long book, so although I managed 300-pages, I've still got a lot to go. Don't mind at all, though; I think Mailer's pretty darn great.
If I leave here tomorow, would you still remember me?

Re: The Book thread.
I heard they are doing t he movie like the book was written. But it'll probably show the stuff happening while the interveiw people are telling the story.
Recently finished Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
It was really good. Well written, and done with the complete seriousness of an Anne Rice novel.
It's a shame about the movie though. With Tim Burton and the director of Wanted both being involved, I can't say I'm holding out much hope for it.
around 300 pages into The Way Of Kings (Stormlight Archive #1). Does have the potential to be a great epic fantasy series, i'd suggest it.
Have you read any of Sanderson's other books? I keep trying to figure out how to logically explain why I liked Alloy better than the first three Mistborn books but so far I've pretty much got nothing.
