Oh I'm in the same boat, is at the beginning of Clash of Kings atm, but haven't read anything for a couple of days now due to me just instantly falling to sleep when I plan on reading xD

But seriously, great book so far.

Re: The Book thread.

I'm currently reading A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. It's fantastic. Truly hilarious. If you get a chance to read it, I'd definitely recommend it.

I'm just struggling, not just with Game of Thrones but with reading anything. A single chapter and I'm bored.

Alan Partridge is a comedy hero of mine, and Im reading his book and Im just bored already. 30 pages in I'm bored.

Maybe it's because I have a few years worth of Wrestling Observer Newsletters on my iPad that I read from and I know they're there waiting for me to read them, haha.

Anybody have any tips to get back into reading? Apart from the first Sherlock Holmes book, I havent finished an actual book in a long time

Re: The Book thread.

Currently on a Philip K. Dick phase. Starting with Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

I hope to start A Scanner Darkly soon, too.

Edit: Scratch that. Apparently the "Do Androids..." audiobook I downloaded contained only bits and pieces of the story. Assholes.

Re: The Book thread.

Going to start re-reading Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky soon. Haven't read it in a few years. Keep finding myself flipping through Albert Einstein's Sidelights on Relativity lately.

Also trying to assemble a new reading list to purchase. Any suggestions welcome - Sci Fi and Biographies are my tops.
