Re: The Book thread.
I've seen D. L. do a few TV interviews, & loved them. Also saw & loved "Shutter Island" & "Mystic River" movies.
That said, it appears to me that the films are no more based on the books than some movies are on true stories, as there are big differences in them. Anyone else bothered by that?

Re: The Book thread.
yeah I go on goodreads if i can't find anything to read.
About half way through World War Z. Good book. It's a little hard for me to get into cause it's after the war, but some of the stories are pretty great.

Yeah so far it's going pretty good, I haven't read that much (only 200 pages or so) because I just cant seem to find the time when I normally is used to read, but I'll get trough it I swear!
It's a good book, though some chapters are kinda meh for me I'll still read trough them because, you know, it's my first read of the book and I don't wanna miss anything.

Yeah I thought th same. If I remember correctly, there were some really well written pages that in the end, weren't linked in the story at all.
If this warranted a movie adaption then the majority of books should.
Currently I'm still reading some Sherlock Holmes, my iPad has over a thousand books on now. Anybody get the "book-hoarding" phenomena? Haha...

Re: The Book thread.
I just finished Assassin's Code from Jonathan Maberry. It is the fourth book in the Joe Ledger series and possibly last one since there is talk of him either retiring or has already retired. The whole series is pretty damn awesome and worth the read. I think I am going to go through and read them all again starting with Patient Zero. Of course he has a couple of more zombie books out that I have yet to read so I may pick those up on Amazon since they are priced fairly low.
