I was talking to a girl at work and she was saying how much she loved the trilogy. When I said, "Aren't those kids books?" I was yelled at and told how wrong I was and that I should read them. I read them all. First two were good but by the last book I was rooting for the bad guys and hoping Katniss (or whatever her fucking name is) would just die already. I'm glad there wasn't a 4th book because I don't think I would have read it because I usually stop myself from reading books when I start to root for the villains.
I read John Sanford's Prey
serious for a while and really enjoyed them. After the awesome hit woman (can't remember her name) got beat by Davenport in her second book I pretty much started rooting for all the twisted and psychopathic killers. It got really bad as I at the end of the book I was upset that a serial killer got caught just because it was that asshole Davenport that caught him. Having thoughts like that can't possibly be good for one's mental health.
Just finished reading Forty Four
as it was free on Amazon. Nothing is worse than reading a free book an Amazon and then realizing that there is a sequel or it's the first book in a series and all of the other books cost money to download. It's a genius marketing idea though. If the first book is free, people will read it, like it, and want to read more. Hey at least you get one free book out of it.
