Re: The "Book" thread.
Just finished my first christmas present book, Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan
It explaines what happened to Revan after KOTOR and where he has disappeared too, I'll recommend it to everyone who's a fan of KOTOR or TOR.

Re: The "Book" thread.
Forgot about that, might have to find that soon.
Picked up the The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo/Played with Fire books after seeing the movie last weekend.

Re: The "Book" thread.
Apart from politics based books for my degree. I'm currently reading War and Peace, about 200 pages in and really enjoying it, though It's pissing me off having to scan down the page all the time for French translations of bits of the text.

Tough one. Seems so vast in one giant book. The chapters that drag leave you a bit overawed when it's one long version do ya think?
I have an iPad now, already read the Wresltecrap Death of WCW book and about to start a Song of Fire and Ice. Also read abou half of Boston Noir which is just a collection of short stories by, I'm guessing, Boston based authors which came with a Dennis Lehane collection. Decent stories but as a Brit who's never been to Boston haha, nothing special.
Anyone read any Dennis Lehane?

I got that book for Christmas, too. Haven't read it yet, but it seems like it'll be a good read.

Re: The "Book" thread.
I'm reading the 4th Dark Tower book, but it's dragging for me. (I hate this extended flashback, can we get to something relevant?) Is it worth trudging along through it? (no spoilers please)

Dark Towers always seemed to daunting for me to even attempt to begin. Has anyone read the books, all of them, and are able to say itmwasmworth it??

Re: The "Book" thread.
Has anyone here read 'A Brief History of Time' by Stephen Hawking? I would like to know if it's a recommended book for someone who's first language isn't English and has no deep knowledge of physics?
