Also, Orwell is pretty good.

ExtremeAngel mentioned Farenheit 451 which I haven't read but some people from my course are adapting it into a play and they say it's pretty good.

What a shame.

hopefully One Shot doesn't end up going down that route.

Re: Recommend a book!

Yeah no doubt.

I'd like to see Greg Rucka's Atticus Kodiak stuff get adapted too but I don't see it happening.

Re: Recommend a book!

Haha funny you should mention that. I have a 'list' that I add to every now and then when I'm after some new books to read and I discovered the Atticus series today. Hopefully get some of them over the next few months.

Re: Recommend a book!

I had started with the 4th book in the series (if you don't count the Bridgett Logan centric side story i'm reading now) and had all the rest aside from Keeper, the first in the series and Shooting At Midnight (Logan's story) which took me years to find at a book store. Found them both by complete dumb luck on a last minute decision. Kodiak is awesome though, I really enjoy his dry humor.

I'm too lazy to Amazon. haha

Re: Recommend a book!

Just been checking out the websites of a few local bookstores near me and they have every Kodiak based book, which is pretty sweet. The library near me doesn't have many though, so looks like I'll have to buy them. I have about 3 more Reacher, one more from Jeff Abbott and then I can move on to the Rucka ones. Should be busy over the next year or so haha.

Which Reacher books haven't you read yet? Well aside from the new one.

Re: Recommend a book!

other than the new one; Gone Tomorrow and 61 Hours. I've read them in 'order' apart from One Shot, which was the first of the series that I read and the book that hooked me in.

Re: Recommend a book!

I read Without Fail first, Ironically because I remembered Lance Storm saying something in a WWE magazine about Lee Child. I'm glad he did haha.

I rather enjoyed Gone Tommorow, 61 Hours is okay. Of course it has a cliffhanger ending thats been driving me nuts.
