Re: The "Book" thread.

I have been thinking of reading A Clockwork Orange. I have no intention of watching the film.

If anyone is interested in linguistics, The Language Instinct by Stephen Pinker is a great read.

Re: The "Book" thread.

Reading is my hobby. I like to read books. Now I am reading the book "Once Night at a Call Centre" by Chetan Bhagat. He is my favourite author. I am waiting for Barak Obama biography book. My all time favourite book is "The Bourne Trilogy". I read different books every bight before I sleep.

Re: The "Book" thread.

Finished The First Law Trilogy. Say one thing for Joe Abercrombie, say he knows how to surprise me. Excellent characters here, and nice subversion of common fantasy tropes to good effect and not 'lol that's retarded' effect.

Also a fucking really good fight scene about half way through the final book. Really good.

Would reccomend this to anyone looking for something to read, although if you're familiar with fantasy and the common steretypes associated w/ it you may find it even better.

I really do highly reccomend it. Fantastic read. But it really took a while to understand the language used in it.

Amazing book. The only problem is that it can be very hard understanding the language. However, some editions come with a glossary translating the language into english.
