Started reading "The Casual Vacancy" by J.K. Rowling last night.
I managed to get through 45 pages before deciding I had enough.

Holy crap. Completely wrong genre for me.
Back to the bookstore or library today...

I need to find something quick. Anybody with a recent strong suggestion?
