Under the Dome was kind of a flop for me. I feel like he revisited a lot of territory from
The Stand. I enjoyed it, but it was 900 lbs of book and I felt like I'd already met most of the characters before.
I loved
Duma Key and
Lisey's Story. They're both very surreal and haunting, very supernatural but about very real-feeling people.
All the short story collections have been reasonably good. I liked
Everything's Eventual and
Just After Sunset better than
Full Dark, No Stars.
"N" from
Just After Sunset gave me the shivers.
