It was an amazing film. Johnny Depp needs a nomination for Best Actor Oscar for sure. I love both Bale and Depp and neither disappoint. This is technically the best film of the year thus far.

I normally don't like Depp movies because he is an eccentric wierdo and always makes really bizarre flicks but that mofo was pretty damn slick in this movie. Enjoyable movie but I didn't think it was must see or anything. But its probably better than anything else in the theaters right now (aside from maybe Hangover which I heard is great).
Plus Don Frye's mustashe was in the movie and it owned.

I can't wait to see this, going tomorrow. Reviews for this film are more mixed than any other I've read about, some people think it's brilliant while others think it's crap. I'm a big fan of Michael Mann though, I love Heat, The Insider and Collateral and I hope this becomes his fourth crime masterpiece. I'm not going to go in with huge expectations though because you usually only end up being disappointed when you do.

I went into this movie expecting it to be a shoot-em-up summer flick and instead I got an actual film and what a pleasant surprise that was.
I absolutely loved it!

I saw a few inaccuracies with the movie, nothing HUGE, but eh.
In real life, Dillinger died before Pretty Boy Floyd and Nelson. In the first ten minutes of the movie, Pretty Boy was killed.

I want to know if Dillinger actually walked into the police station like that.
I heard the ending where he dies, was also a bit inaccurate. And I was surprised that his girlfriend character didn't actually exist in real life.
