Truer words may have never been spoken...with the exception of, "Chris is Awesome"...but that goes without saying.

Sex and the City- a film based on the popular tv series, about Carrie and her impending marriage. Starring Sarah Jessica Parker (Smart People), Kim Cattrall (Ice Princess), and Kirsten Davis (The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lavagirl). First off, I don't watch the series I was kind of dragged into watching this film. I must say coming from a non-fan's point of view I think it was pretty well done. Pretty enjoyable although the film was a bit long. Some good laughs here and there. I was surprised that i liked it.

Shooter

This is a movie I can watch over and over. It stars Mark Wahlberg who happens to be one of my favorite actors currently and directed by Antoine Fuqua, the guy who directed Training Day. It's about a military sniper who is framed for killing a political figure so now he must race against time and the government to prove he didn't do it. I highly recommend it

Unbreakable- a film about a man who learns that he is "unbreakable" after a terrible train wreck. Starring Bruce Willis (Live Free or Die Hard), Samuel L. Jackson (1408), and Robin Wright Penn (Beowulf). I thought it would be good to watch this film to gear up for Shyamalan's The Happening which is out in less than two weeks. This film is not Shymalan's best work, but not terrible either. Nice show from Willis, I usually end up liking his performances anyways. Watch this film, but don't expect it to be spectacular.

Donnie Darko

Beyond brilliant. Only movie that I have ever watched that I had no idea what the fuck was going on through the entire movie, but at the same time was so caught up and dragged into the story. It was funny, it was sad, it was pretty much every emotion I could possibly think of. The performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and the rest of the actors was fantastic. The soundtrack features the song Mad World By Gary Jules, which fit the theme of the movie perfectly, and is also one of my favorite songs, and when it played at the end was just a stellar moment. I would very rarely give a movie a 9.5/10, but this one is throughly deserving .

9.5/10

Super Mario Bros.- a film based on the video game series, in which Mario and Luigi must rescue Daisy from evil forces. Starring Bob Hoskins (Doomsday), John Leguizamo (Ice Age: The Meltdown), and Dennis Hopper (The Crow: Wicked Prayer). This film doesn't hold very true to the game series, and some of the stuff that goes on is farfetched. But I did enjoy this film and felt it was worth the time to watch. Some funny moments in this film. Can't guarantee that you will like this film, but if you like the series, check it out anyways.

6/10

The Strangers- a film based on true events about a couple who are terrorized by three masked assailants. Starring Scott Speedman (Underworld) and Liv Tyler (Armageddon). This film definetely delivers the chills and thrills. A film that gets right to the point, and keeps you on the edge waiting to know what happens next. A very solid horror film, the best one I have seen this year thus far. I recommend this film to horror film lovers. Surely not the best, but better than the films of recent memory. Now it is time for me to research the events that this film was based on.
