Cannibal Holocaust- a film about an archaeologist who visits a cannibalistic society in search for a video left behind by missing Americans. Supposedly this is a landmark horror film due to its gore and what not. Too tell you the truth I was not impressed at all. For a film done in the 80's I think its stupid, especially with so many gory and more horrific films around. This film is like a film circling around raping and cruelty, and I felt drained at the end. They are remaking this film next year, and I can be sure that I will not watch the remake. I really wish I didn't waste my time.

4/10- And I am being generous. I am open minded to all kinds of film, whatever the genre, but this film was just bad.
Lol yeah CH is mostly crap, people usually watch it to get "grossed out" and it usually does at least on some level but it doesn't deliver much else. The turtle scene really pissed me off because it was a real turtle

Yeah it was animal cruelty, they like destroyed that turtle. I don't know if the monkeys used were real, but when they beheaded it I felt so angry. Its a really lame film, that really lacks everywhere.

Diary Of The Dead

Absolutely fucking awesome, I love Zombie flicks, this one was just as awesome if not better than the other George A. Romero zombie movies. Well done from a hand held camera point of view too.

Wayne's World- a film about two guys who take their basement show big time. Starring Mike Myers (Shrek), Dana Carvey (This is Spinal Tap), and Rob Lowe (The Outsiders). I think this film was a great comedy. Some great stuff from Myers. I loved the part where both guys go they will never advertise products, yet they show off the label names while saying their stuff. The film even featured rock legend Alice Cooper. I loved his role where he gave his insight on the history of Milwaukee. Good film with a lot of fun stuff.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

I absolutely love this movie. Probably love it more than anyone I have ever met. It's one of my favorite of all time and thus it inspired my user name. I can watch this at least once a week.

Run, Fatboy, Run
Staring Simon Pegg (Shaun of The Dead, Hot Fuzz) who plays Dennis, a man left his pregnant wife at the alter. 5 years later, he is a security guard at a women's clothing store. He becomes jealous of his ex-fiance's new boyfriend and in a desperate attempt to turn his life around and hopefully win her back, he enters a marathon. I loved Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz so i had high expectations going into this one, and it didnt dissapoint. I couldnt stop laughing for almost the entire movie and enjoyed the entire thing. Very good comedy and over coming the odds story. I definitly recommend this movie to anyone.

Rating - A+

Pretty in Pink- I heard good stuff about this film so I decided to check it out. A film about a poor girl who falls for a rich boy, while having an obsessed friend all over her. Starring Molly Ringwald (The Breakfast Club), Harry Dean Stanton (Alien), and Annie Potts (Ghostbusters). I think the film was pretty well done, interesting throughout. A very interesting 80's flick indeed.

E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial:

I was flipping through the channels and of all stations "Nickelodeon" had "E.T" on so of course I checked it out having not seen it in YEARS

Man I was almost in tears towards the end I really forgotten how much this movie meant to me as a little kid and its really something special watching something so ahead of its time. Seriously people if you haven't seen this film yet you should its a real treat and gets me every time I view it.

Holler Holler, ya'll!

10/10 < Really deserves more!

Donnie Darko - Directors cut (2001)

A troubled teen is haunted by visions of a man named Frank, who while in a Freaky Bunny suit predicts the end of the world in 28 days.

One of my absolute favorite movies of the decade. If ever there was a film left open for interpretation it's this one. I'll admit that the first time I saw this I was completely puzzled but still enjoyed it immensely. After subsequent viewings and especially this Directors cut the story is very clear and more rewarding than ever. The performances are incredible. From Jake Gyllenhall, his sister Maggie, Patrick Swayze, Drew Barrymore, Mary McDonnell, really the entire cast did outstanding work. The soundtrack is very fitting including the great Gary Jules remake of Mad World. DD is thought-provoking with some rather disturbing imagery but also surprisingly funny and ridiculously entertaining. Never a dull moment to be had. This is definitely one movie you need to see more than once to grasp all that it's trying to convey. A modern mind bending sci-fi masterpiece.

9.5/10

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

JFK- a film about the conspiracies circling the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Starring a great cast of Kevin Costner (Mr. Brooks), Tommy Lee Jones (No Country for Old Men), Gary Oldman (Batman Begins), Joe Pesci (Goodfellas), Kevin Bacon (Death Sentence), and Sissy Spacek (Carrie). I must say this film was perfect, and interesting the whole way through. This film will get you to think and question history. I thought Costner did damn good in this film as Jim Garrison. Not sure if everything in this film can be proven true, but I enjoyed watching it. You must watch this film.
