Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Mary Poppins- I was very bored and this film was on television, so I decided to check it out. It's good for what it is. Can't say I enjoyed it too much. I really didn't like the whole story of it, and it just dragged on for a while. To this day my favorite classic film from the 50-60's era remains as Rear Window.
National Lampoons: Christmas Vacation- a good Christmas film, very enjoyable now that most of us are in the holiday spirit. If you want to watch something entertaining, you should probably check this out. It may not be the best Christmas flick, but it sure is enjoyable.

The Sting
A classic heist movie. I won't bother going into any detail. Everyone should know what this movie is about.
To this day, 'The Sting' remains one of the film industries most enjoyable efforts. Robert Redford and Paul Newman work like magic together. However, the plot-twists have been over-used in subsequent heist movies and unfortunately that does take some of the Bee out of 'The Sting'. 4.5/5

ALPHA DOG
Interesting movie throughout. Once the hook happened I couldn't turn away until it was over. Not the best of movies by any stretch but a movie I enjoyed on different levels.

The Futurama Movie
It started of with a good story but then it just dragged on. It was so painful I didn't even finish watching it.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Jingle All the Way- I really liked this film, yeah the ending was very cheesy but it was a fun film to watch, nonetheless. I think Arnold (don't know how to spell his last name, well you get the point) did a great job as a father looking for a Christmas toy. Overall, good holiday fun.
7/10
The Deaths of Ian Stone- this was part of the 8 films to die for Horrorfest of 2007. I gotta say it is very far fetched, and seemed more like a science fiction film gone wrong, rather than a horror film. The plot was not very clear, and the deliverance was not all that effective. My favorite Horrorfest 2007 film remains as Mulberry Street.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
I Am Legend
Not everyone's going to enjoy this movie. More-so the people that like over-analyzing and criticizing every frame of every movie. Some will say the story is thin, the CGI isn't effective and the ending is weak. But I liked 'I Am Legend'.
Will Smith does an amazing job from start to finish, almost entirely unaided. The opening scenes are unforgettable, the bond between Smith and his dog is heart-warming, and even the "weak" ending felt satisfactory. 8/10
The Graduate
"Here's to you, Mrs. Robinson, Jesus loves you more than you will know". The movie that somewhat inspired a classic song.... but not really. Many think that 'Mrs. Robinson' was written for use in 'The Graduate' but in fact the song was originally written in reference to Eleanor Roosevelt.
Useless facts aside... 'The Graduate' is a good movie. Dustin Hoffman makes it great. 9/10

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
The Great Debaters- this releases on Christmas, but I happened to catch it earlier. Denzel Washington, once again performs superbly. Forrest Whitaker is also in this film which makes it all the more better. It is a great film, and I think it was the perfect time of year to release this film because it will quite possibly (if not already chosen) will run for the Oscars.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Jaws 2
Well I'm a HUGE Jaws fan and I like this movie alot more than other Jaws fans seem to. I think the acting is pretty good and the film is very easy on the eyes. Don't get me wrong, this isn't nearly as good as Jaws but it's a fun movie and very good for what it is.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Boogie Nights
A chilling tale, of the true world of pornography. Starring many A-listers from hollywood (well in comparison to what is in normal porn,) it summarizes the life of trying to become a porn star. Marky mark sports a fake penis, and gets to hook-up with Julianne Moore (who despite being pretty old, still looks damn good.) One of the few porn based movies that actually has a plot to it, and made it to the mainstream.

Walk Hard- THe Dewey Cox Story
Very funny film, while not on the level of Superbad or Knocked Up will have you laughing throughout. John C Reily is so good he should win awards and Jenna Fischer is both funny and beautiful. Highly recommended spoof of all the biopics of late.
