Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Juno
Starring Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Allison Janney and JK Simmons
So basically the movie is about Juno getting pregnant and decideing to give the baby to two people Garner & Bateman who can't have their own child. It shows how it is to be a teenage girl pregnant while in highschool.
Really Really Good Movie, actually one of the best movies I've seen. This movie is definatly must OWN. Also Great Soundtrack
A+

Walk hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007)

About the rise of fictional Rock n Roll legend Dewy Cox as he goes through the ups and downs of success.
From the producer/writer of Superbad,Knocked up. I really liked this movie, I couldn't stop laughing throughout. I lost it when he destroyed all those sinks in the bathroom lol. The songs weren't too bad either but I do believe some could've been a little funnier written. The acting was pretty good by John C. Reilly and I really enjoyed Tim Tim Meadows role as well "We're smoking reefer and you don't want no part of this shit!" lmao. All in all not perfect but definitely worth the watch if you want a few laughs.

American Pie
Ah, yes, the 1999 teen romp about trying to get laid by prom night. As I said, it centers around 4 high school senior boys trying to get laid and their friend Stifler who throws the parties. If you haven't seen it, do so.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Before the Devil Knows your Dead
Starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ethan Hawke, Marrisa Tomei and Albert Finney
Hoffman and Hawke are brothers in the movie and both really need money so they decide to rob a Mom and Pop store only thing is its Their Mom and Pop.
The plot of the movie is real good. All the actors give their best and we all know how Great Hoffman can be, and Hawke is just as good. Plus Tomei is topless throughout the film and that's never a bad thing
Go watch this movie and enjoy it, I know you will

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Its a Jason Statham Triple Shot!
Transporter
Jason Statham stars as Frank Martin, A transporter for hire. He will transport anyone or anything for the right amount but he lives by several rules. When he breaks one of his own rules (Never look in the Package), he ends up in some pretty deep shit. Overall a good movie, the usual Jason Statham movie, Jason Yelling, shit getting blown up, and him Kicking some ass, also a few mild humor bits thrown in here and there. If you like any of Jasons work, you will probably enjoy this.
Rating - B
Transporter 2
Statham returns to his role as Frank Martin. However, he is no longer in his role as a transporter but he is now a driver for a rich suburban family. However, when the families young boy becomes the target of a criminal, Martin must go back to his roots of just doing what he does best, driving really fast and blowing shit up. Again, good Jason Statham Movie, i actually liked this one slightly better than the first.
Rating - B+
War
Statham stars as a CIA agent trying to track down an assassin only names "Rouge" (Jet Li). Statham and his partner think they are in the clear when they shot him down at a pier, however all is not what it seems. Sometime Later Stathams partner and family are victims in a brutal murder. All signs point to Rouges work. 3 years have passed and a new lead has risen in the case, and now for Statham its a personal vendetta. He must track down rouge, before a fued between the Yakuza and the Triads engulfs the entire city.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Funny Games (2007)
2 psychopaths take a family hostage at their vacation cabin. They make a wager that the family will die before 9 A.M
Directed by Michael Haneke, this is actually a remake of one of his earlier movies, don't know why you would remake you're own stuff but whatever. This movie is really bizarre but overall it's a pretty good psychological thriller. It makes some subtle and not so subtle attempts of social commentary about violence in movies/media, even going as far as breaking the 4th wall. (the killers talking directly to the audience.) Good acting by Naomi watts and especially one of the killers, Michael Pitt (The villiage)who was great as the calm sadistic sociopath. Kinda slow in parts but with an undeniable uneasiness and distressing realism I've haven't seen very often in films.
7/10
