amazing movie indeed ^^. It is remarkable, every second of it. I want to talk about it but really can't without giving anything away. Edward Norton was really great in this film. That scene with the guy, teeth, and the pavement.... ouch!!

Yeah that scene is shocking. I don't shock easily but that scene absolutely shocked me. It's well worth watching. What happens to his little brother totally sells the movie for me. What a great film.

The Mist
Based on a novel by Stephen King, a small town is engulfed by a strange mist that has made its way down from the mountains and what lies in the mist is....well....terrifying. This movie was better than i thought it would be. The creatures were really well done and creepy. The ending was very good(though not as i expected, especially after reading the book) and it really fit the movie. Overall i was pleased with the movie and recommend it to anyone.

Rating: B+

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

American History X is a Must OWN, Norton is a fuckin Amazing actor.

Mist was suprisngly good, saw it awhile back in the Dollar Cinema, lol

Southland Tales

Starring The Rock, Sarah Michelle Gellehar, Mandy Moore, Sean William Scott, Justin Timberlake and Featuring So many other people its Ridiculous

The Movie is random as fuck, like Rockhead said there is so many things going on at once its really hard to figure out what is going on. The acting is incredible, everyone in the Movie did such a good job, it is not better than Donnie Darko but just as twisted.

B-

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

In the Valley of Elah- I watched this film on recommendation from iCe , and boy am I glad I saw it. Its about a father who looks for his son, who mysteriously went missing after returning from Iraq. Starring Tommy Lee Jones (No Country for Old Men), and Charlize Theoron (Monster). Such a great film which hits at the heart, a spectacular performance by Tommy Lee Jones. It truly is a great film, you will be kept interested for the full two hours. Watch this film, for sure.

^Saw that one a little while ago, I found it very good but a little too preachy. Tommy Lee was amazing as always and made that movie. Check out The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada He was great in this one as well and I believe was even his directorial debut.

Is there a role he hasn't been good in, I mean even in men in black 2 he was good.

Oh and I think I finally I understand the ending to No country, still sucked but I understand it now.

Psycho

I wanted to check this movie out, quite old but it was pretty cool with some gruesome scenes and that, got quite boring at some parts but was ok. Although I'm probably never going to watch this movie again after seeing the shower scene.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

Trade (2007)

A 13 year old girl in Mexico City is kidnapped by Human traffickers. Her brother goes on a desperate journey to save her before she's auctioned off.

Really powerful and griping story about a very taboo subject that too often is ignored. Very good acting by Kevin Klein and the rest of the cast as well especially the little girl. Just some very disturbing and gut-wrenching stuff. This is one of the most involved movies I've seen in a while, you just want those fuckers to pay for what they're doing and have presumably, and in an almost a routine nature done many times in the past. It's not perfect though which is a shame because it could've been a masterpiece but there are some scenes that stretch the realm of realism and also it get's a little cliched in parts, but as with most movies, suspension of belief goes a long way. Overall, a very well made and important film. To think shit like this happens so much in the world, and mostly to young children... It's enough to make you lose all hope in humanity...

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

Meet the Browns- a film about a single and troubled mother who takes her family to the funeral of a father that she never has seen before. While there she meets "The Browns". I did enjoy Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?, so I decided to give this a shot. Not the best of his works, not very funny, but I didn't expect much more from this film. I guess if you are really bored, then you should check out this film, but it didn't really cut it for me.
