Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Basket Case (1982)

Cult horror classic from the 80's about 2 surgically removed Siamese twins, one horribly deformed and carried in a basket, as they try and get revenge on the doctors that separated them years earlier.
Man It's been YEARS since I've seen this. I remember loving it when I was younger, and it's even better now. Technically this movie blows, terrible acting, soundtrack, effects, everything is very below average, but the fun factor is through the roof. This movie is so damn funny, particularly this one scene where Belial (monster bro) is wrecking the hotel room, and we're treated to some of the worst claymation effects I've ever seen. Shit I couldn't stop laughing during it lol. It is kinda gruesome in parts so be warned, but it's so over the top that you can't help but laugh rather than be grossed out. If you're looking for an awesome retro horror film to watch with some friends, this is the perfect one.

Vantage Point
the film is set in Salamanca, Spain, where United States President Henry Ashton(William Hurt) is holding an anti-terrorism summit.Over a twenty-three-minute period, an assassination attempt on the President unfolds. The film loops through this period over and over, each time from the perspective of a different participant, adding a new piece to the larger puzzle with each loop.
9/10.Very good movie

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Shutter - Remake of a Thai horror film starring Joshua Jackson and Rachael Taylor. It's about a photographer and his new bride who go to Tokyo for a working honeymoon and end up in a car accident which kills a local girl. The body disappears from the accident and they move on with life in Tokyo until strange images appear in pictures and weird things start happening to them. Shutter is your standard horror remake with less gore and no surprises at all. It also doesn't help that the scenes that don't deal with the ghost are slow and boring even by horror standards.

^ The Asian one was pretty good, not very original but it had some good scares. Not surprised the pg-13 remake sucked, but haven't they all...

The Funhouse
.jpg)
Wow, this really, really sucked. It's set in like a funhouse thing at a carnival. I think it's 4 kids go in and spend the night. Some weird motherfucker name Gunther (deformed as all hell) kills a physic lady. One of the kids drops something so Gunther goes after them.
It really was a pretty lame film. It wasn't scary at all. The character Amy's dialog consisted of screaming and crying. It was a horror movie you could laugh at.

Friday night lights
The story-after losing their star running back a team rallies around their quaterback and coach.
The acting- really really good tim mcgraw was great as one of the players alchaholic dad.
Overall -a very good movie 9/10
Beowulf
After being terrorized by a monster, a kingdom gets beowulf to take on the monster and his mom played by angelina jolie
Effect- it looked great
Overall- this was a good movie, but had some corny scene's in it.8/10
No country for old men
The story- a guy finds a lot of herion and money, a nother guy played by Javier bardem is the crazy guy going after him and tommy lee jones plays a cop who's going after Javiers charector.
The acting- pretty good Javier was creepy becuase he shows no emotion
Overall- it was good but could have been a lot better if it had been 20 minutes longer( if you've seen the movie you know why) and showed the kill scenes they alluded to.8/10

In the Valley of Elah
Starring Tommy Lee Jones and Charlize Theron and Featuring Susan Surandon and Josh Brolin
Wow! I had no idea what this was about and just rented because of Tommy Lee and I had just see No Country for Old Men so I wanted to see if this would be good too. And it was, the movie is about a father (Jones) wanting to know what has happend to his son and when he finds out he wants to know why this has happend, a Detective (Theron) helps him find what's really happend.
I rented it not knowing what it was, but this is a movie I will be Owning 2morrow. Do yourself a favor and go watch this movie

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
definetely gonna try to check that film out soon^^
Southland Tales- its pretty hard to describe the plot of this film, but it is basically about a sort of futuristic life after Texas was bombed. Starring The Rock (The Game Plan), Sarah Michelle Gellar (The Grudge), and Sean William Scott (American Pie). This film is brought to you by the same guy who directed Donnie Darko. It is so very easy to get lost in this film because there is so much going on, with so many characters. the plot is dense, and I suggest watching this film more than once to really get it. Other than that, I thought it was pretty good. Sean William Scott does well in a serious role, and The Rock is great on his part. The ending was well done, in my opinion. This film is long, so give it patience and your attention, and I am sure you will find it interesting.

American History X
What can I say about this film that hasn't already been said. What a great movie for anyone who is interested in being educated. This is a true film and not a movie. It's a must watch.
