Superbad:
I've seen this movie many times, and picked up the 2-disc extended unrated edition and I must say the extra scenes included are very funny and added to the enjoyment of the film. The bonus features are great, over 2 hours and they put alot of effort in this DVD.
Overall rating: Easily 10/10

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
The Golden Compass- what can i say its a really mediocre film. It was nice to see Daniel Craig in it, and Nicole Kidman played her part well. But, the plot and the development of the story was not all too great, and I got lost at times. Some good scenes in the film though...

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Awake- Hmm.... A young man is 'awake' during his heart transplant operation and finds out that the people he put faith in are going to kill him. I just didn't like the fact him being 'awake' didn't change the outcome of the movie at all. The mystery would've been solved with him being 'awake' or not 'awake' at all.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Cocktail Starring Tom Cruise
Although people seem to hate the man nowadays, maybe judging him because of his religious beliefs, or because he just skipped a frame on Oprah, this movie about a young man trying to find a "high roller" kind of job in Manhattan is really a small little piece of gold. The sudden change of professions, going from "trying" to be someone working on Wallstreet to a bartender is not surprising, as the title of the movie gives this punch away, I felt this movie was more than anything, relaxing to watch and funny. The performances are not extraodinary. The cast is okay. The story not so bad at all. I think I'd recommend this movie for a few things. I'd recommend it because of the nice Jamaican outsets. I'd recommend it for those wanting to compare the Tom of today to the Tom of yesterday. I'd recommend it for people who are interested in pursuing bartending. And I'd also recommend it for the relationship between Tom's character and "Coglin", his closest friend, yet sometimes "enemy" throughout this film. For anyone having never known who their father was or, for anyone without any fatherly figure in their lives, you'll easily get attached to the relationship these too share, a bit of "tough love" and some real to life emotions make this pairing quite a good one. I'd finish off this small review by saying that "Cocktail" is very underrated. But I guess that critics who get paid to review films sometimes just like to bash people. I prefer to enjoy movies and not judge a box cover by its cover... or something like that. If you don't have anything to do better than lay around for a couple of hours, I recommend this movie very much.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
^^^ I love Tom Cruise. Love every movie I've seen him in.
Alpha Dog - I went into this movie without really knowing much about it and I couldn't pull myself away from it. I really enjoyed the movie, start to finish. The ending didn't go as I had predicted which is a good thing.

The Mist
I just got back from watching The Mist and I was on the edge of my seat for the whole movie. The ending, I saw it coming. It is expected twist from King movie. Many other movies end in such an ironic way.Go see it if you like suspense. It is not really horror. More of a suspense type movie. The next movie me and my girlfriend are going to see is I AM Legend.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Cinderella Man- Russell Crowe is always awesome. Its a spectacular film which sums up the high and low of the life of James Braddock. I always enjoy watching films that involve boxing, such as Million Dollar Baby. I recommend this film to all who want to watch a film that inspires.
