Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
^loved American Psycho great movie imo.
Black Sheep (2006)
2 environmentalist hippie types sneak into a research facility in New Zealand that's performing genetic experiments on Sheep. An accident occurs turning the lovable lifestock into blood-thirsty mutants. Henry Oldfield whose terrified of sheep is stuck trying to fight back an outbreak.
Horror/Comedy movie from New Zealand that's mostly tongue and cheek comedy but does offer some great gore/fx and some descent jump scares here and there. The acting is solid and the dialogs are funny as hell. The premise is comedy gold, seriously, just completely ridiculous at times but always hilarious. I don't think I'll ever look at a sheep the same again. If one even approaches me now, I'm dropkicking that bastard back to the stone age But all in all a very fun movie. Don't take it serious and you'll definitely enjoy it.

Happy Feet
Young penguin born, and discovers that he doesn't have the gift of a great singing voice like he is expected to have, however, he has a talent for dancing, using his feet (i.e happy feet). He grows up and fails singing school, and is blamed for the shortage of fish. He gets booted from the community, and embarks on a mission to save everyone in his community and get his 'girl' Gloria
A fundamentality sound children's movie, with loads of animation and fun, but also had a logical story that older people can follow and enjoy. One of the best child films I've seen since Toy Story

Semi-Pro - The new Will Ferrell comedy about a one-hit wonder's attempt to keep his team alive when the ABA decides to merge with the NBA. The commercials made it seem like this was going to be another Blades of Glory, but it turned out that this was a pretty funny comedy. Not Will Ferrell at his best, but it's a good fun movie to see if you want to laugh in the next couple of weeks.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
I need to check that film out^^
Braveheart- a film about the legendary William Wallace, who with his army led a resistance against the English from his land of Scotland. Starring and also directed by the incomparable Mel Gibson. The film is truly an epic. A little under three hours but truly worth the watch. Good war scenes, great dialogue, and the setting of the film looks marvelous. If you are a fan of war epics, than you really need to check this film out...

The Godfather 2
An incredible movie probably the best, it is quite long but it's so worth it.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Semi-Pro- a film about a man named Jackie Moon who tries to get his tea (The Tropics) to pass a merger and make it into the National Basketball Association. Starring Will Ferrell, Andre Benjamin, and Woody Harrelson. This film delivers some good laughs here and there. Will Ferrell is good in this film, and if you are a fan of his, you should not be disappointed with what he brings in this one. Harrelson also does a great job in his role. Maybe it could have been a little better, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. If you were planning to catch this film, then you probably should.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Dellamorte Dellamore (1994)
A cemetery watchman Francesco Dellamorte(Rupert Everett) who lives in house on the grave site itself along with his "Igor" like assistant, are in charge of re-killing the dead after they Inexplicably rise from their graves after 7 days.
I came into this expecting your regular run of the mill zombie splatter movie much in the vein of Re-animator or Evil Dead but it was a whole lot deeper than that. I won't get into the meaning because it will give away the movie, and interpretation is always better left to the viewer. So with that said, you don't necessarily need to get too deep with it to appreciate it and enjoy it. On the surface it is just a splatter movie featuring ridiculous things like, Zombie boy scouts, talking severed heads, gratuitous nudity, mild necrophilia and so forth lol. Crazy and bizarre at times, but a thoroughly entertaining Zombie movie with a brain...of sorts

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Witless Protection- for some bizzare reason I actually watched this film. The film stars the dreadful Larry the Cable Guy, who is known for his "Golden Globe worthy" performances in classics such as Delta Farce and Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector (note the sarcasm). This film is about a sheriff who thinks that a girl is getting kidnapped, so he goes out to help her. Basically, this film is filled with very lame comedy and the worst toilet humor possible. Larry The Cable Guy is bad as usual, and it just won't keep you entertained. I can't believe films like this get the greenlight for production.

Fools Gold
I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would. I have a girl crush on Kate Hudson and I don't mind admitting it. I've loved her ever since one of my top all-time movies, Almost Famous. And I have a serious crush on Matthew McConaughey. That's never going to change. So I went into this movie thinking that even if the movie sucks I can swoon at Matthew and Kate if nothing else. But I actually enjoyed the movie. It's not a great film by any stretch...it's not even a good film. But it's a pretty good movie and that's all it's meant to be.

Vantage Point
Another decent flick but I was more disappointed with it. I expected more. I liked the style in which the film was shot but after the fourth time of going back to the beginning of the movie to see another vantage point it got old. The ending was pretty good but the movie offered absolutely nothing other than the neat little vantage point replays. It's worth a rent but that's about it.

Witless Protection
In interest of full disclosure, I'm not a huge Larry the Cable Guy fan. I find him to be funny in certain situations but that's about it. This movie, while it will provide you with some laughs it will not provide you with anything more... but seriously, if anyone is expecting anything other than a couple laughs then they need to re-evaluate what they think Larry the Cable Guy is. He delivers what he promises... some laughs and a good time. But as a film, it's horrible.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
I, like you had the misfortune of checking out Witless Protection.
I gave Vantage Point a 7 though. I also did feel that it was getting repetitive when it switched to another viewpoint. But because of its originality I gave it a 7.
