Lars and the Real Girl - 8/10

I really enjoyed this movie. It's about a man named Lars who is socially awkward, and decides to order a anatomically correct doll off the internet, and passes her off to everyone he knows as his girlfriend, Bianca. He brings her everywhere with him, church, parties, etc. People, of coarse, think he's crazy at first, but then they become adjusted to it, and it's almost sorta like, their ok with the fact that he's dating a doll. A very good performance delivered by Ryan Gosling as well. An interesting movie indeed.

3:10 To Yuma (2007).

Christian Bale & Russel Crowe are quality. Peter Fonda does well, every actor and actress give a solid performance. Some good actions scenes too, more than I was expecting. Very good western actioner, a couple of powerful moments, cameo from Luke Wilson too, he acts well for one of the few times. Overall, entertaining stuff that I didn't give much of a chance when going in, but came out, fond of it.

Great Movie, makes me wish I would've seen it last year. Loved it from start to finish highly recomended. Everyone should watch this movie!

More evidence on just why the Coen brothers absolutely rule. I absolutely love this movie and can watch it over and over and it seems like each time I find something different I had noticed the times before. Friggin awesome movie.

The Hurricane - The Denzel Washington performance in this move is quite gripping. This is actually the movie that made me recognize just how awesome Mr. Washington was as an actor. The surrounding cast might pale in comparison to the talent of this man but I really felt like I was not watching a movie but a documentary. Nothing was overboard, everything was well put to film. The actual facts of this true to life story are missing from my culture, but, if this is how everything went down in the life of Ruben Carter, the way it was depicted in this movie is just awesome. Great movie from start to finish, but might be a bit long for some folks.

Stars Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, and Steve Buscemi. Honsetly this movie proves the Coen brothers can do no wrong. For me it is hard to find a part of the movie were im not laughing my ass off. Seriously, if you havent seen this movie, go to your local blockbuster right now. If its closed, Break in, steal copy and watch it as many times as you can before you get taken to jail.
