^^^^

As a Hollywood popcorn action flick I would give it an 8 or so but as a film over all, I would give it about a 6 or 6.5. It's absolutely great for what it's meant to be but if you dig deeper into it there's not a lot there other than popcorn flick.

If that's the case then Depp has to win since I think Tommy Lee also won an Oscar for The Fugitive. They'll probably think Depp has a couple of more chances to win one, and then vote for Day-Lewis.

Well, for whatever it's worth, the BAFTAs (British Oscars) finished and Atonement won best picture over No Country and There Will Be Blood. The Coens won best director and Day-Lewis won for best actor.

Casanova- a film starring the late great Heath Ledger and Sienna Miller. First off I checked out this film for three reasons, Heath Ledger, boredom, and the fact that I enjoy films set in the past. If you haven't guessed by now this film is based on the notorious lover, Casanova. Heath Ledger does good in it, it is a real shame he is gone, because he was quite talented. The setting of the film is wondrous and fitting. and Overall, it is a good romance film that you might want to watch on Valentines Day with your significant other.

Gozu

Wow where to start lol, this is about a pair of brothers in a Yakuza gang. That's pretty much where all the sanity ends here. I haven't see too many Takashi Miike movies but I've seen enough to know to expect the kind of bizarre film making that's made him famous. Incredibly weird, disturbing, hilarious, all at the same time. If you've never seen a Miike movie you should probably start with Audition, Visitor Q, DOA series, or Ichi the Killer. Those are a lot better offerings and slightly make more sense. Gozu lacked a real solid story, The unbelievable obscureness or strangeness holds the various scenes together for the most part, your just sitting there half the time thinking WTF!?? Just waiting to see how much more bizarre things can get. The ending is one of the craziest damn things I've ever seen... Check this out if you're a fan of Miike or Surrealist films like Eraserhead or El Topo.

Candy- another film starring Heath Ledger. This film is about a couple who are very highly addicted to heroin, who go through some struggles. This film is pretty intense, like if you are squeamish this is probably not for you, needles, blood, and much more in this. There was one whole scene where I could not stop laughing, where Candy (the girl) kept having problems with sleeping, so she threw some solid glass object at Ledger's head, pretty damn funny. But there are also some scary moments in the film, which I won't give away. If you liked Requiem for a Dream you will love this film for sure.

Tombstone
Yep, another western. I absolutely love this movie. There are some historical inaccuracies in this but that's OK. Also where was the fourth Earp? He's not even mentioned. And props to Val Kilmers version of Doc Holliday. May be the best character in any film in a long time. I absolutely loved it.

This was a fantastic documentary, whether you love games or a not. A true good vs evil scenario and I hate to say it but it nearly brought me to tears. Steve is a genuine person and a very likeable character, while Billy is the cocky "Jock". They are both amazing arcade players striving for the world record. You know who to root for and the story couldn't have been written any better. I recommend this film to everyone.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

Beowulf - actually enjoyed this movie alot. The action was good and the story was alright but seemed like it went to quick even if it was a two hours movie. You really see nothing after he becomes king until he is old man and they do not go to much depth into his son he has with the demon lady. Visuals were good though and the fight he had with Grendel and the dragon were well done.
