Same old antics from the guys. Funny at times, especially Bam being a bitch near snakes again. 7/10.

Interesting set-up and idea though it seemed like there wasn't enough time allocated to effectively tell the story in a way that would have made it feel realistic and convincing. Despite may tense scenes on paper it just didn't translate to the screen with very odd music choices and bizarre pacing. Nonetheless though an entertaining picture with some very good performances in spite of it being yet another Cronenberg movie where I felt that there was lots of wasted potential. Regardless, Mario Bello naked = buys!

holy shit, someone else who doesn't care for this movie? i'm a bit different from you though, i love Cronenburg (Crash and Eastern Promises especially), but i can't get into this movie at all. everything about it minus the acting just doesn't impress me. i eventually went back to it after reading a Ten Best Films of the Decade list by Peter Travers (one of the few critics i actually hold weight in their opinion with), and he had listed for 4th. i thought "i HAVE to be missing something," and after i re-watched it, maybe i still am, but i just don't think its a very good movie. found it to be a bland movie that wanted to be about more than it actually had to offer.

It is a really good film, but not great or anything. The first time I watched it I really liked it, but the second time I wasn't so impressed tbh.

I like Cronenberg too. I just usually feel that his movies have the potential to be better than they are. Eastern Promises was very good though. I kept waiting for that edgy, striking moment in HOV but it just never arrived.

Cowboys & Aliens: A decent film that really should have been much better. The concept had some real potential and i'm sad that at the end it was just lukewarm. Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig star in this intergalactic western, but due to slow pacing and no real emotions, the movie doesnt deliver the impact that could have. As a popcorn flick, it does it job. As a filmic experience it doesnt reach the same heights.

Shoalin Soccer (2001):

Oh boy was this movie hilarious! directed by Stephen Chow, this movie is about a monk (stephen Chow) that wants to reunite with his fellow brothers whom are also monks to form a soccer team, they use their martial arts expertise and have some funny super powers that they use when they play soccer which is funny. I highly recommend seeing this if you're looking for a laugh.

8/10

Kung Fu Hustle (2004):

Another movie directed by Stephen Chow that in my opinion is funnier than Shoalin Soccer. This movie is based on the 1940s in a town in China that is ruled by a gang called the "Axe Gang", a man named Sing (Stephen Chow) fights against these guys in a martial arts battle. I highly recommend this movie if you're looking for an action comedy

THE MUPPETS (2011)

When a rich oil baron threatens to tear down the old Muppet Studio, three Muppets superfans convince Kermit the Frog to round up the old gang & put on one last Muppet show to raise the money to save their studio.

As someone who grew up with the Muppets, I can honestly say that this is one of the most fun movie going experiences I've had all year. The movie's self aware humor, catchy songs, & obvious love towards Jim Henson's timeless character makes it pure fun from start to finish. I wouldn't say its the best Muppet film out there (falling behind The Muppet Movie & The Great Muppet Caper) but is very solid in its own right & is a wonderful return for The Muppets.

Its time to play the music, its time to light the lights, its time for you to GET OFF YOUR ASS AND GO SEE THIS FUCKING MOVIE!!!!

Batman Forever: Got the ASDA 5 deal for the first 4 batman films, we all know the first is great surpassed imo by the sequel which was just awesome.

This however is so poor, i don't know what others thought of Val Kilmer as Batman but i thought he was pretty poor. the writing in this was craptacular (i miss that word) Jim Carrey played, well Jim Carrey just turned up a few notches which made the whole film feel so camp and awkward, TLJ was also pathetic. Seriously how annoying was robin? the most hated sidekick i can remember.

3/10 (for nicole kidman, who tried her best, bless)

Next up is Batman & Robin, i remember this one when i was a kid and i remember thinking it was shit back then.

Nicole Kidman was at her hottest in that film. Not a good performance or movie though.
