Matthew Broderick and Jean Reno > Anybody from Cloverfield. Those two made Godzilla bearable. Nothing in Cloverfield made it bearable.

I thought the guy with the camera was rather amusing. I thought the movie was just fun as hell.

Well, I will agree to disagree. We all have our likes and dislikes, so yeah. Personally, I just don't like Cloverfield, but that's me. The monster was disappointing and the thrills were hackneyed. Mr.Mister, see Cloverfield and tell us what you think. Just remember though, Jean Reno and Danny Trejo may disapprove of your decision if you decide to side with the Lady and the Queen.

Return of the Living Dead

This classic zombie movie redefined the genre. Gone were the slow shambling hordes of moaning undead. In their place were rioting screaming and shrieking sprinting zombies that wanted nothing more than to eat...your...brains. Every actor is spot on with their over the top deliveries. This movie never takes itself seriously, though there are some genuinely chilling and tense scenes. Tons of gore, humor, and a chick that gets naked and stays that way even after she's joined the ranks of the undead. The characters are memorable and many of the scenes are unforgettable. This one's a classic.

Mr.Mister, have you seen Romero's Diary of the Dead?

7.5 out of 10 for it. I love it.

Blues Brothers

Any movie with "Illinois Nazi's" and several hundred cop cars getting smashed deserves a 10/10. The only musical where you don't feel like less of a man after watching it either.

The Blues Brothers is a big deal. I agree.

And no Sabrina, I have not. I haven't even heard of it which seem wrong to me.

Phantom of the Opera (2004)

Starring Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum

Well, one of my mancrushes and my female celeb crush in the same film, with music, opera, masks, and great cinematography? Count me in. I was disappointed with The Phantom's make-up (he didn't look ghastly enough) but I loved the music and it's probably one of my favorite Musicals. I won't give it a rating, but I enjoy it enough that I can watch it and never be bored.

@ LC: Diary of the Dead is a solid Zombie film. Good reboot. I heard his latest effort, Survival of the Dead, was bad, though.

I think you'll enjoy it. It's all "shot" on a hand held camera like in Cloverfield. It's pretty entertaining.

Request it in the media section
