Hitch- A Romantic Comedy film about Date Doctor named Hitch who helps his male clients get in romantic relationships with their dream girls. But The doctor is forced to use his own game when the DOC finds his dream women.
The film stared Will Smith(as Alex "Hitch" Hitchens) Eva Mendes(as Sara Melas) and Kevin James(as Albert Brennaman). The film also featured Michael Rapaport,Paula Patton, and Jeffrey Donovan(who plays on USA's Burn Notice as Michael Westen).
I don't normally watch Romantic Comedies because the films usually feature unbearable unrealistic characters and situations. But Hitch is really different IMO because the characters come off as real and they have realistic emotions. Hitch has a certain realness that can be felt by watching the film. Because of this
Munich- a film involving the massacre of the Olympics in 1972, and the events that followed. Starring Eric Bana (Star Trek), Daniel Craig (Defiance), and Ciarán Hinds (Race To Witch Mountain). The film is a bit long, but I think Steven Spielberg once again does an excellent job here. It was pretty interesting seeing as this film was based on actual occurrences. Not a huge fan of Bana, but I must admit that he was solid in this film. Overall, a well-made film, and one of the best films of the year 2005.
Crash - I enjoyed this film, had some really intense moments, irony and all the plot strands were woven together pretty nicely. I was also glad it didn't fall into the trap many such films do, by being 3 hours long. It was concise and didn't leave me bored for any notable period of time.
The Ugly Truth- a film about a TV producer who gets help from a male chauvinist, for improvement of her love life. Starring Gerard Butler (RocknRolla), Katherine Heigl (27 Dresses), and Cheryl Hines (Space Chimps). Well you can pretty much predict what happens at the end of this film, but it did have its moments. Butler and Heigl had good chemistry, and brought forth some interesting stuff. Was better than I initially expected it to be. A pretty good date film.
