Orphan- a film about a family that adopts a girl named Esther, and then they realize that things take a sudden turn for the worse when shes around. Starring Vera Farmiga (Running Scared), Peter Sarsgaard (Rendition), and Isabelle Fuhrman (Hounddog). This was a solid horror/thriller, and should be watched by everyone. Furhman did an amazing job as being an annoying little girl from hell. Not one of your average horror films, and I think it was delivered very well. There is a nice twist near the climax, which makes it all the more better.

Coming To America- a film about a royal African prince who comes to America to meet the love of his life. Starring Eddie Murphy (Imagine That!), Arsenio Hall, and Shari Headley. I only wanted to watch this film because it took place in New York. It was decent, I kind of lost interest at times throughout the film. The best part was probably Samuel L. Jackson's cameo as a robber. Okay film, not as good as I was hoping it would be.

Hmm probably not. But you will seriously hope for bad things to happen to her, while watching this film. Very strong character.

Light uses it to rid the world of criminals and to become the 'god' of the new world. The police unit assigned to finding this mysterious killer is led by L, the world greatest detective who is also a teenager and only eats sweets, and Light's father. A mastermind struggle between achieveing justice or senseless murder, leaving the viewer making up their own mind whether Light is the hero or the villain.

Brilliant films, so cleverly written with 1 of the best endings that you just don't see happening. L is easily in the top 3 of coolest characters of all time aswell.

9/10 - Biased opinion because Death Note is the only manga i have ever read, so I was always going to love the films. Not looking forward to the american remake
Having much less time to develop, I would think that it's not up to the manga/anime level. Haven't seen these tho

I liked both the Nolan Batman films a heck of a lot more than this.

Aliens In The Attic- a film about a family who are attacked by incoming aliens, while they are on vacation. Starring Carter Jenkins (Bad News Bears), Robert Hoffman (Step Up: 2 The Streets), and Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical 3: Senior Year). Well I didn't expect too much from this film, but it was actually pretty good. It serves its purpose as a mindless but entertaining film for kids and the family alike. The acting was pretty bad, but nonetheless it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw

Funny People- a film about a comedian who finds out he is dying, and then enlists the help of a man who he starts to befriend. Starring Adam Sandler (Bedtime Stories), Seth Rogen (Observe and Report), and Leslie Mann (17 Again). The third film by Judd Apatow. I really enjoyed this film. Its a lot more emotional and has more depth than his previous two films. Definitely more mature than his other films as well. Jonah Hill is a riot in this film, same with Sandler and Rogen. This film was very entertaining.

7.5/10

Man on Fire- a film about an ex-CIA assassin, who takes revenge on a gang who kidnap a girl of the family he was protecting. Starring Denzel Washington (The Taking of Pelham 123), Dakota Fanning (Push), and Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill). Big fan of Denzel's work so I had to check out this film. It has become one of my favorite films from him. Great plot, and very entertaining. My only problem was the camera style of many of the scenes. But still a remarkable film.

8/10

My favorite Eddy Murphy movie

The Foot Fist Way - a film that is mock documentary that follows a Martial Artist named Fred Simmons seeking approval and revenge on his Idol Chuck "The Truck" Wallace. It stared Danny R. McBride, Ben Best, and Mary Jane Bostic. Danny really carries the whole movie and the majority of the movie it shows.

2.5/5
Some funny parts but his work on Eastbound & Down was a lot better.

The Wackness - a Hip-hop coming of age film that follows a teenager named Luke Shapiro. Luke grows up during the summer of 94 by selling Weed to help his family before he goes to college. It stars Josh Peck(From Nick's Drake and Josh) Ben Kingsley, Famke Janssen, and Olivia Thirlby. there's also cameo's by Method Man and Mary-Kate Olsen.

Josh Peck really killed his role as Luke Shapiro IMO. It was a coming out party compared to his work on D&J. Ben Kingsley had a very remember-able role as Dr. Jeffrey Squires. It was a good flick not very action oriented but the characters are very relate-able and realistic. The sound track is 90's Hip-hop and its dope because it helps make the scenery and set the mood.

The Wackness gets a solid
3/5
I suggest it if you want something different to look at or if your a hip hop head.
