Nolo King watched Bruno yesterday with the girlfriend!

Bruno is a biography on a great fashionista hoping to be funny and it starts off very well and ends very well, only part that was not funny was when Bruno interacted with a dull agent, everything else was fantastic!

This spectacular movie deserves a 9/10, must see creamer, lawls!

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince- a film where Harry discovers a mysterious potions book belonging to "The Half Blood Prince", and how he discovers darker secrets of Voldemort's past. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint. I think this was an excellent portrayal of the book, and the best film of the series. We had much better character development and comedy moments. I am very excited about seeing the next film, after I enjoyed this one so much. Great stuff, and a great summer film which HP fans will love.

Burn After Reading - Black Comedy with an all star cast. Takes a solid 30 minutes before the story actually starts and it actually gets funny. It literally could have had the opening 30 minutes removed and it would not make a single bit of diference. After pushing past that though, Brad Pitt's character enters and the film does flow nicely and has good solid humour based around 2 people thinking they have found highly classified information and are trying to blackmail an ex agent. Solid story and ending as nothing is left up in the air.

The only time I laughed during Burn After was when dumbshit Pitt was trying to blackmail Malkovich on the phone but I lost interest about 20 minutes later and didn't finish the movie.

Shame since I normally love dark comedy.

Defiance

I thought it was a pretty good film. It was a nice little story lesson for me since it's based on a true story. It had very fine acting, especially from it's two leads, which were Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber. The story was good and the action was good. Overall, I enjoyed the movie.

4/5

I'm kinda new to dark comedy, I honestly didn't even know the genre existed until like a year ago, but it's now my favourite genre. Do you recomend any films, my favourite ones are probably In Bruges or Big Nothing

American Pie
- After a nerdy kid supposedly gets laid at a friends party, the four friends Jim, Kevin, Oz and Finch make a pact the next morning to get laid before they finish highschool, helping eachother along the way so that it is a 'team effort'. Each friend takes a different direction to getting laid: Jim attempts to have sex with a Czechoslovakian exchange student, but fails miserably, ending up with a dorky Band Geek; Kevin tries to speed up his 'slow' relationship with his girlfriend Vicki; Oz joins the school choir in order to seek out choir chicks and Finch pays an anonomous girl to spread rumours about how good he is in bed. In the end each of the four realize that losing heir virginity isn't what makes one a man, but the appreciation of sex that does.

I love the American Pie series - not so much the last 3 movies, but the original trilogy is a classic 'sex-fueled' teen movie trilogy. The four friends take the word 'sex' to the extreme in certain aspects, and the addition of the party-crazy Steve Stifler just makes the whole experience that much funnier. Not a comedy for the kids, but if you can see the extremely funny side to sexual humor, then this is the movie for you, as well as the 2nd and 3rd movies.

9/10

^^^ I actually can't believe they got away with that. I mean yeah its a Rated R film, but a baby being made to do a jack off gesture? That's pushing it. But yeah it was fucking hilarious.

HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY

Hellboy is called into duty again when an ancient society thought to be ancient myth returns to take revenge on mankind by releasing the indestructible Golden Army.

I wasn't a big fan of the first Hellboy film. I just felt like it had a pretentious air to it. But this film was alot more fun. Great action sequences and wonderfully designed creatures helped make this film visually interesting, and the interactions between the main characters gave it a fun story to compliment everything. Its nothing special, but definitely appealing and its worth a look.
