anyhoo, on to another film:
The Illusionist-I kinda don't like "imaginary" films, but the plot for this movie is pretty good. The film keeps u guessing the whole way with great acting from Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti, and Jessica Beil. The ending made it all even bettah. I think this same year another magician film came out with christian bale and hugh jackman called The Prestige. Both r good, but overall I thought this film was very well done and everyone should give it a look at least once.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Cloverfield - I though it was an OK film and worth most of the hype attached to it, but I had a couple of minor problems with it. One of the problems (besides my girlfriend getting sick at all the camerawork) is that the reason the main character's friends follow him around the city makes no sense to me, given the beginning of the film. I could get past the fact that we get few answers since this is from the view of the people in the action, but that and the rioting bugged me a little. Overall though, a good movie.

27 Dresses - Yet another horrid romantic comedy that didn't need to be made. Just think of three or four other movies like this that you've seen, chop them up, put them in random order, and you'd get something better than this. Girlfriend dragged me to this, maybe that's why she got sick during Cloverfield.

Cloverfield
It was actually a letdown mostly. I did enjoy the parts with the monster (of course.) But the parts without were very lame.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Sunshine- this film is about a team of people and their quest to restore the Sun to its natural state. Overall this film is entertaining to watch, films like this that involve space or planets and what not really interest me. I recommend this if you are a real science fiction fan.

She has a history of motion sickness, so the movie might have set it off.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
Family Guy movie (whatever it is called)
I saw this movie a couple weeks ago thanks to a guy from work. It follows Star Wars episode IV completely.
Only memorable part is Cleveland as R2D2 getting shot... "Motherfuckin sum bitch, who do you think I am? R2Pac?"

The Simpsons Movie
This was a let down to me. All it made me wanna do is go home and watch The Simpsons from like five years ago when the series was bearable.

Re: Rate & Mini-Summarize the Last Movie You Saw
There Will Be Blood
I had heard alot of good things about this movie. It is set against the backdrop of the Southern California oil boom of the late-19th and early-20th centuries, it tells a story of greed and envy of biblical proportions. Daniel day Lewis was very good in this movie, I would recommend, probably my favorite movie of 2007 next to No Country for Old Men.
9.5/10
Cloverfield - I had low expectation coming in to this movie. Any movie where they keep the monster away from the audience for most of the movie (Signs, The Myst, etc.) usually end up being a disappointment. Overall it was a decent movie, maybe a movie you sneak into after paying for a good movie. However it was only like 80-85 minutes long and I wasn't affected by the shaky camera but some of my friends were complaining about it.
7/10
